Mystic Force: Dragon Age (GAME)

"Nothing." Harrison blurted out. "It's been a long day and the magical solution to take these guys out isn't gonna pop up right now. Maybe some rest will do all of us some good and we can come at this fresh another day."

"Yeah. Let's head home." Harrison shot Jameson a sympathetic glance before teleporting out. He knew Jameson's headspace wasn't necessarily kosher but he felt for the position Jameson must have been in and hoped that the fire wizard could find a balance soon.

With the day won, the Rangers were feeling the stress of the battle. Jameson in particular started feeling like things were about to go off in a bad way, and he wasn't sure they'd survive.

It'd been a few days since the Dragonic Alter attacked the city and the Rangers argument over how to end the fight fast. Jameson sighed as he stood in the bunker, scanning the city for anything related to the Syndicate. The Red Ranger was still going over every scenario he could think of, but nothing was coming solid in his mind. He heard a noise, looking over as a blue portal opened and a young woman stepped out.

"Mayumi!" the magician said, smiling for the first time in a while. He hugged the girl and he smiled. "What're you doing here? Is everything ok?"

Mayumi sighed softly. "No," she said. She explained about the recent adventure to help Gaara and what happened with Naruto, watching Jameson's reactions.

"So Gaara was killed, Naruto went all rage, and you stood by while everyone else did the work to get him calmed down? Mayumi, you know we love you, but that's not how being a Ranger works. You can't just pick and choose what battle you want to fight. They needed you, and you refused. What would have happened if you needed them and they didnt' show up?" the Red Mystic Ranger asked.

Mayumi sighed, folding her arms. "I wasn't going to hurt Naruto. He'd already been hurt enough and I--"

"Your inaction could have gotten someone killed! Take it from me, Mayumi, standing by is a good way to watch your friends die! It's happened here already!"

The Blue Ranger flinched at Jameson blowing up at her, and she sighed softly, knowing he was right. "Yeah...I know I screwed up. But I--"

"No buts. You go back, you talk to Aaron and apologize. You come back here and tell me you didn't, I'll send you home without this or the Dino Soul," Jameson said, not giving Mayumi much room to negotiate. "Understand?"

Mayumi nodded softly, taking the device out of her pocket again. "Yeah...I'm sorry, Jameson. I'll talk to him tomorrow morning." With that, she'd said her goodbye and reappeared back in her home.

When Mayumi left, the Red Ranger sighed as he sat down, rubbing his head softly. "Hmm...just like me. Wants to do things her way. Maybe there's something I can learn frmo that about my own problems..."

Yuuga was seen at his apartment as he had finished a phone call with his grandfather's lawyer who had confirmed that he now has legally claimed the multi-billion dollar inheritance. After planning their next meeting, Yuuga stretched his arms before letting out a huge sigh. He had been focusing on what he was going to plan once he returns to Angel Grove for college, but at the same time, he was thinking about Jameson and what he could do to help him, knowing that Jukanou is planning something sinister.

"Kuso. I really don't know where I can really go from here," he said to himself silently.

Walking inside, one of his coworkers noticed Jameson walking in behind him and pointed him out. Harrison turned around, seeing the fire wizard.

"Hey there, Bro. Come to do some business?" The elder Earth wizard asked.

As Yuuga left his apartment, letting his friends know that he was leaving as he walked out the door. He walked through the city until he spotted Harrison's place and decided to make a pit stop. He slowly peeked in before walking in, "Yo," he called out to Harrison and Jameson.
