Alison nodded, looking over at Jameson who was still standing in place, hands clenched. "Jameson?"
The Red Ranger turned, isghing. "Sorry. Let's get back," he said, helping Alexandra up.
The five Rangers teleported back to the cave, Dahlia looking over. "Welcome back. You guys barely took that thing down, but you did and that's a win for the good guys. Never seen a monster that big before."

"Well we did call them out hella loudly and hella publicly." Harrison spoke up while taking a seat. "Baby Zilla felt like the warning shot." He finished, suspecting that things were only going to get tougher for the heroes.

"That I agree, it's only the beginning of those dragons' plans. I still feel sick thinking about it," Yuuga spoke grimly.

"That I agree, it's only the beginning of those dragons' plans. I still feel sick thinking about it," Yuuga spoke grimly.
Alison nodded. "That thing was hard to take down. Just glad we finally got it down," she said.
Alexandra nodded, sighing and looking at Jameson who was silent. "Jameson?" she asked. "Are you ok?"
Jameson looked over, nodding and leaning against the wall. "Yeah. Just...lot running through my head."

Jameson sighed. "Jukanou's creatures are getting stronger. We don't have time to sit on our hands and wait this out," he siad. "We need to find them and strike first. No more offense."
"And you're ok with that?" Alison asked. "A suicide run?"
"If it means killing these bastards and saving the city, damn right."

Harrison let out a deep sigh. Risking his life was nothing new given that they had been doing this for a while but this just felt off to him. He felt like his brother in arms had a death wish as much as he had a desire to stop the syndicate and it worried him.
"I hope this doesn't blow up in our faces... or blow our faces off." He thought to himself.

Yuuga's expression turned dark over the outcome, "Going kamikaze is the last thing I want to think about, but if it's the last resort... so be it," he said.

Dahlia squeezed Harrison's shoulder softly. She'd make a point to talk to her boyfriend about his thoughts later. Looking at Jameson, it was hard to get a read on the Red Ranger. Ever since his return, something in him was different, and she struggled to find out what.
Yelena sighed softly, putting her hand on Jameson's arm, her boyfriend not even reacting to her touch. "Jameson. Where's your head at?"
The Red Ranger was silent. He looked at Jukanou's image on the computer, and he felt his blood boil. "The end of the war. I'm tired of fighting. I want to kill Jukanou, I dont' care how, and I want to finally get a break. I've been going non-stop three years. I think I've earned one," he said.
"You have," Alexandra said. "But thinking about ending this with a suicide run isn't the way to do it. We can beat him, but we need to do it as a team. Didn't the book say we needed to take out the other four first before going after Jukanou?"

Harrison sighed when Dahlia squeezed his hand. He hated that he was thinking this but everyone else seemed to be dancing around it a bit and not addressing directly for either fear of pissing Jameson off, starting another argument or both but in his mind, he'd be doing the Red Ranger a disservice by remaining silent.
"The problem isn't going on a suicide run. It's how casually you seem to have put it on the table, especially when you're not doing this alone. Just like how you casually called out the syndicate without as much as giving us a second look."

Jameson sighed softly. "I know I'm making choices without talking to you guys. Calling them out, planning this suicide run. I'm just tired of the war. I'm tired of the fighting, I'm tired of losing people, and I'm tired of...I'm just tired. All the fighting, I've gotten sick of it. Being a Ranger was fun in the first battle, even when I didn't understand the stakes. But between Amaranth, the Overseer, and now Jukanou, I've grown tired. I want it to be over one way or another."
He looked at his friends, pulling away from Yelena. "I'm not asking you guys to rush in with me and get yourselves killed. I would never ask that. And I know the consequences of saying "I'm going in alone" because you'll all stop me and do the team speech and I'll change my mind. It happens that way all the time. I just...don't...see any other way to stop this. We kill the other dragons, Jukanou gets stronger. The only thing that could stand up to him is my Dragonix Armor, but that leaves you guys out of the fight."
"You're talking like you don't have faith in us, Jameson," Alison said, folding her arms. "Is that what it is?"
"I don't have faith in myself. I don't have faith in myself not to lead you all into a trap or get someone else killed. Ever since Troy--" The Red Ranger stopped, slamming his fist into the wall. "Ever since Troy died...all i've done is go over a hundred scenarios in my head to take Jukanou down. Without getting anyone else killed except for myself."

"Bro, what you need to do is take a breath. Taking out Jukanou isn't some quicky operation. It's gonna take all of us to do it and doing it the right way. One big slip up and that's all our asses." Harrison explained. "And if we get our cheeks clapped, what's stopping him from seeking out the the space cops or the pro wrestler or the ninja or the prodigy? We're all that stands in between this dude and multiversal chaos."

Jameson sighed, knowing Harrison was right. He pressed his hands to his eyes, taking a breath. "I'm sorry, guys."
Yelena rubbed Jameson's back softly, giving his arm a squeeze. She wasn't going ot forgive him so easily, but she didn't want him to think she was mad at him. "You need to lean on us, Jameson. Tell us what you're thinkgin. You don't have to do this alone."
"I Know, but...wanting to keep my family safe...is that a bad thing?"
"When it comes to us watching you die again, damn right it is," Alison said. "You go full stupid, do your suicide run, blow Jukanou's crew to hell, and then we see you die a seconed time? That's bullshit and you knwo it."
