Power Rangers Dino Steel

Rina took off with Jaxon, directing civilians away from the fight and the fires. She kicked a Coronite backward, slashing at it's buddy with her own Saber. "Guys, a bit of help!" she said, looking over at Aaron and JT. "They're coming from all sides. JT, can you clear a path ahead while Aaron keeps our backs safe?"

"I got it!" The Pink Ranger revealed her Steel Edge Saber, she transitioned from a cartwheel with no hands to an axe kick, crushing the neck of a Coronite before slashing another grunt on her right and delivering a side kick to the grunt on her left. "You guys get those people clear!" She called out, striking several Coronites with a variety of sword strikes.

"I've got your backs! Keep going!" The Black Ranger opted to get his hands dirty. He threw rapid fast hand strikes in dizzying combinations while seamlessly transitioning into quick kicks, beating up several Coronites before jumping over another grunt and came down with a triple kick, knocking back three more grunts.

Kida lashed out and slashed Flaris in the chest, throwing her down the street before she turned and faced the fires. OPening and closing hte mouth on the saber twice, the blade glowed icy blue as she started twirling it.

BLIZZARD WAVE rang out, the wings on Kida's armor flaring out and flapping forward, sending a subzero burst of cold air at the fires, extinguishing them quickly. The Red Ranger turned back to Flaris, narrowing her eyes under her helmet.

"You did something today that other and better creatures have tried, Flaris," she growled. "YOu put doubt in my own abilities in my head. Yes, some of those were already there, but losing to you this morning hurt worse then child birth or anything my father did to me. I'm going to enjoy ripping your heart out."

Flaris laughed as she got up, her whole body igniting. "You can't stop me!" she laughed, her laughter devolving into crazed cackling as she rushed Kida, the trails of fire engulfing her.

"I think I can," Kida said, opening and closing the Saber four times.

GO GO GO FINALE PTERICE BURST

Kida ran her hand down the side of the blade, the sword glowing that same haunting icy blue. She lashed out and swung as Flaris came at her, twisting and cutting her down again.

Flaris hit the ground, rolling to a stop before she forced herself up. "I'm still standing, Red Ranger!" she laughed. "You missed!"

"Did I?" Kida asked, turning and narrowing her eyes.

Flaris looked down as her fire died, starting to crystalize and turn to ice. "No! No, you can't do this to me!"

"I just did," Kida said, walking over as Flaris turned to solid ice before she lashed out and kicked the Elemental in the chest, shattering her body.

The Coronites, having been trying ot get to the Rangers, all growled and snarled when their commander was killed, disappearing into cracks and crevices around the other four Rangers, retreating to their master.

JT and Aaron were roughing up the Coronites, making sure that Rina and Jaxon were clear. They briefly caught a glance of the tail end of Kida's fight against Flaris. After the flaming creature was destroyed, the Coronites retreated and this was all a cause for celebration.

"Well I'll be damned! She put that bitch on ice!" JT nodded in approval with the Red Ranger stepping up in a big way to take down that beast.

"Good shit." Aaron's tone was much more calm but on the inside, he was extremely happy for the new Red Ranger to step up in a big way and not just for her, but to show others that she was truly capable of doing this.

Jaxon walked up to Kida and he extended his hand. "Look, I wanna apologize for what was said earlier. I have a bad habit of saying whats on my mind but not taking things into consideration." Jaxon stated as he looked at Kida. "When I was growing up, we didn't get the praise until after we did it right and it rubbed off on me. So, I'm sorry for being a dick.." Jaxon stated.

Kida sighed, shaking Jaxon's hand. "It's alright. We're all getting used to all of the change going on. I'm not sure how effective I'll be right away. Today was difficult enough. We all know something bigger's getting thrown at us soon," she said. "We just have to stick together and work as a team. And if that means being encouraging when you'd rather throw an insult, listen to the nicer side. We all have a way to go to make this new team dynamic work. We're all parts of different teams trying to mesh together. It'll take time. We just need to have each other's backs."

Aaron hadn't said much else seeing as the current and former Red Ranger needed to have this dialogue so that they and the rest of the team could move forward. With a new team with five wildly varying personalities, the last thing they needed were any fractures that could drive the team apart. So far, things seemed to be on the mend and while he knew they couldn't be a well oiled machine in a day, they all had to work at trending upward so that they can stop The Overseer.

Kida snickered. "C'mon, let's get back to the Command Center," she said, taking her SOul out of her morpher and demorphing. The morpher shrank back into the communicator, and she tapped the screen. The five Rangers teleported away, appearing back in the Command Center.

"Nicely done, Rangers," Jameson said with a smile. "Really put that bitch on ice."

"Well, my last name ain't Frost for nothing," Kida said with a smirk.

"You've done well once again, Rangers. The Overseer has lost his most trusted ally from the Old Times," Zordon said. "With Flaris gone, things are going to get much harder. Do not take todays victory lightly."

"Yeah, if there's one thing we all know, it's that one victory could mean three defeats later down the line. Don't get cocky, that's rule number one," Jameson said. "Kida, let me see that PterIce Soul." He caught the ice blue Soul when the Red Ranger tossed it to him. 'How'd it work?"

"Well, considering FLaris is a pile of ice cubes," Kida laughed. "It held up well, Jameson. I really liked that one."

"Well, I'm glad. We're working on some other ones that'll be ready in a couple of days," Jameson said. He walked over and tapped a console, a large steel cage rising from the floor beside it. "Here's where we'll recharge the non-transformation Souls. PterIce and any of the other new ones we think up."

"Yeah, if there's one thing we all know, it's that one victory could mean three defeats later down the line. Don't get cocky, that's rule number one," Jameson said. "Kida, let me see that PterIce Soul." He caught the ice blue Soul when the Red Ranger tossed it to him. 'How'd it work?"

"Well, considering FLaris is a pile of ice cubes," Kida laughed. "It held up well, Jameson. I really liked that one."

"Well, I'm glad. We're working on some other ones that'll be ready in a couple of days," Jameson said. He walked over and tapped a console, a large steel cage rising from the floor beside it. "Here's where we'll recharge the non-transformation Souls. PterIce and any of the other new ones we think up."

"Well seeing as though this isn't our first rodeo and we're all away from our homes, being anxious is more likely than being cocky." Aaron spoke up, eyeing that Pterice Soul going back into the steel cage seeing as he had an affinity for ice style techniques.

"You have a point, seeing as you're cocky with or without the battle." JT teased the Black Ranger.

"It's only cocky if you can't back it up." Aaron said in response to the Pink Ranger. "But now I'm curious. If Flaris was his BFF from forever ago, there's no telling who or what he may dig up now."
