"I do not know. But I would be worried and cautious anyway. Some of his old acquaintances include the Twins, a pair of siblings each deadly in their own right but even moreso together. He also used a creature known as Arachnos, capable of using all arachnids at his disposal. We do not know if they'll be used or even return, but keep your eyes out anyway. For now, all of you get some rest, celebrate your victory." Zordon said.
"Yeah, let me show you guys a couple places around the city," Jameson said with a smile.
"Sounds good to me." JT smiled back, eager to see more of the city.
"I'm good with that." Aaron responded, seeming agreeable to a city tour. "I can do more of a deep dive on what's around here that I missed during scouting."

Kida snickered and shook her head.
Jameson teleported out with the Rangers, the five celebrating their victory over Flaris, unknowing of what was coming down the line for them. The Overseer was angry, and he was about to unleash Hell on Angel Grove...

A few days passed since Flaris' attack on the city and the usage of the PterIce Soul. The Rangers were still working with Jameson in his weird multi-company business venture, and occasionally helping with making new Souls with Alpha. A handful of experimental Souls had been made, nothing tested yet, much to the former Mystic Rangers' dismay.
Kida walked down the street, humming to herself as she bobbed her head to her phone. Having been on a high since putting Flaris in the ground, the Red Ranger felt like she was on top of hte world, even though she still missed her family. With Jameson working round the clock on new gear and weapons iwth Alpha, Kida felt a little useless just answering phones and dealing with people that way.
"I wonder if there's any jobs in town," she mused, stopping outside of a shop and looking in the window. "Oh, that's cute. Kiara'd love that dress. Aww....I miss my girls. Now I'm sad." She smiled a bit, rubbing her head before walking into the shop.

Underground, the Overseer snarled as he paced the cave, his blood boiling. "FLaris is dead. And you two cannot come up with any ideas!?" he snarled. "What am I keeping you two here for!?"
"Overseer, perhaps something unexpected?" Amaranth asked. "Having been able to connect to remnants of Ranger worlds and timelines, there has been times enemies have sent forces to face the Rangers at all times of the day. Sometimes leading to the Rangers fracturing. Perhaps trying something similiar?"
"And do you suggest you lead the charges, Witch?" the Overseer asked.
"I merely suggest an attack. If you wish us to lead the assaults we will."

In the days that have passed since the defeat of Flaris, Aaron wandered around more of the city, getting a good feel for the area that doesn't exist in the world he came from. His journey brought him to a small noodle shop that reminded him a bit of home thanks to the smells and the flavors. Upon walking inside, he was greeted by an older man from behind the register.
"I'll be with you in one second!" He yelled before sending out what looked to be his wife.
"Hello." She said with a slight bow. "Are you waiting for someone?"
"No." Aaron smiled. "Just me." The older woman escorted Aaron to a small table and for the resident shinobi, being alone felt awfully comfortable. With Kida and Rina, they were semi-familiar with one another, given their friendships with alternate versions from their respective universes. With Jaxon and JT, they came from different points in the same timeline but they knew a lot of the same people, so there was at least some familiarity. In that respect, he was the odd man out in more ways than he had let on. He actually liked his current teammates but didn't want to get too attached since he viewed this as a short term mission and that he'd be back in his world pretty soon.

JT was found walking down the streets of Angel Grove, mainly because she thought that it would be cool to compare this version of Angel Grove to the one she visited so many times back home when Rangers from across the world and sometimes universe would gather to catch up with one another and partake in the occasional mission, depending on who was available. She missed the laughter and love that would come from such events, whether it was Uncle Finley sneaking her a beer when they thought her mom wasn't looking, Mr. Nolan going on long speeches about their battles against Zeo, her father and uncle arguing over what was a more effective fighting style, or a group of some of the world's mightiest heroes assembling to put the fear of God into a boy who made her cry when she was 12.
She also missed her team that she left behind on not the best terms because of her ego and looked forward to setting things right when she got back. During her walk, her mind also drifted back to her current team. She still felt uneasy about not currently wearing the color Red as she felt it was her birthright but she knew that not only was this the hand dealt but that Kida was a good Ranger who deserved their support. Plus she figured that maybe that this tied into what her father meant by learning to follow before she could truly lead. She hadn't interacted as much with Rina, save for picking on the boys which was always something she got a kick out of. It was interesting to see a young Jaxon since the one she knew was much older but was always nice to her and hooked her up with wrestling tickets thanks to prodding from Nolan. Aaron was the one she couldn't quite put her finger on. Between his confident yet reserved demeanor and his ability to entertain her with their banter. She was intrigued with the shinobi specialist and looked forward to him opening up a bit more.

In the days after Flaris's defeat, Jaxon stayed at the command center helping Jameson and Alpha in creating new souls. It kept Jaxon's mind from running and racing off in to other places where it shouldn't go. Jaxon wasn't on easy terms with most of the team but when it came to JT, they were around the same people so it felt almost home with her. Jaxon was in the process of finishing a welding on one of the souls. "A couple of welds here and this one should be ready for testing. Speaking of..." Jaxon said as he paused the welding. "Alpha, has you or Jameson tested the new souls?" Jaxon asked as he hollered out for Alpha after lifting his welding helmet.

Alpha looked over and nodded. "Jameson tests them. Then he finishes the designs and patterns for the emblems," he said. "Once he figures out the abilities." He walked over, picking up a Soul. "Like this one. He finished it and tested it in a Steel Edge Saber, and found it gives super speed, along with some form of armor. Since he can't morph like you guys can, he can't see the armor until it's on one of you." He looked over as Jameson teleported in, smoothies for himself and Jaxon in hand. "Jameson, what were you calling this one?" "MicroSpeeder," Jameson said. "Based off of the Microraptor, a pretty fast little dino." |

"Awesome! Nothing wrong having a little speed. If used correctly it could be a great equalizer. I remember our Yellow Ranger, she had the beast power of the cheetah. She was really fast. She often used her power to take out dozens of footsoldiers off their feet." Jaxon stated remembering his team.

Rina stretched lightly and leaned back against one of the many shade trees Angel Grove park provided, looking on as everyone went on with their normal lives. Back home being a Ranger and a detective were pretty much hand in hand when it came to protecting those around you, even if you never met them before. They’d only been here a week or so, and there were still a lot of bumps and snags they had to work out. “That’s always been natrual..” she mused to herself with a smile, sighing closed her eyes and litened to the wind blowing through the tree.

Aaron looked down at the ramen and back up at the older woman who brought him his bowl, smiling after catching a whiff of the familiar dish.
"Arigato Gozaimasu!"
"Oh?" The older woman perked up hearing Japanese from the young man? "You don't look Japanese."
"Half-Japanese on my mom's side. I was actually living there before I came to Angel Grove a few weeks ago."
"Very good. Enjoy your meal." The two exchanged bows before Aaron focused on his meal. "Itadakimasu!"

Jameson laughed and smiled. "Course it's yours, man. You're busting your ass helping me with these so Alpha can keep monitoring for new activity. Gotta show the love when I can." He sat down and started going over his list of Souls and waht needed bonding, and he sighed softly.
"Yelena was...well, she's special. She's over a thousand years old. Princess of a long forgotten country, Aytolis. My home, Crescent City, was built on it's ruins," he said. "I was looking through the caves and I literally fell on the crystal coffin she was in. She's really only about twenty years old thanks to the spell the Mages cast that let her live through Amaranth's initial attack."

"I see. So a Princess that was sealed away for years, you stumbled upon, and you've grown fond of her. You speak of her as if she's more than just special. She holds a place in your heart, I can tell." Jaxon stated as he sipped his smoothie.
