Stop the video at :06 seconds I see Shou, Naga, Spada, Balance, Garu and Raptor all trying to restrain Lucky. Does anyone know why they are doing that? If they are trying to keep Lucky from doing something stupid why is Hammy just standing there watching? Why aren't Stinger, Champ or Koutarou doing anything? Although I'd be surprised if any of them could reach Lucky since he is completely surrounded on all sides Koutaro is easily too small for this and would likely get hurt in such an endavor. As for Champ and Stinger it is likely they aren't there. Because let's face it if Champ had been there he'd be all they need to hold Lucky back. Also Kaizoku if you look at the preview pictures on Toei's website here: www.toei.co.jp/tv/kyuranger/story/1211268_2686.htmlthe third picture from the left in what is clearly right before the gang tackle Hammy does have a hold of Lucky's arm

I gotta ask. Does Toei actually hate its' main female protagonists in this show? I mean, look at Poppy Pipopappo (God, that is a ridiculously long-ass name!) and Nico from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. They didn't want to portray the stereotypical roles of wanting to be a kindergarten teacher or a cook, or to be an idol singer, or a housewife, etc. Poppy wants to bring back everybody's smiles and play Doremifa Beat together with her friends and Nico wants to work as a nurse with Taiga at the end of the show. Hell, even Akari from Kamen Rider Ghost had a better career goal than any of the more recent sentai heroines, including Hammie and Raptor. She wants to be an inspired scientist and a genius, and she is doing that right now working with Igor according to the events of the Kamen Rider Specter movie. Kiriko from Drive is already working as a police officer and is happily married with Shinnosuke at the end of their show. Even Jasmine and Umeko from Dekaranger already found happiness for themselves and they're still working a space police officers. Jasmine is married to Hikaru and they have a son, Umeko is engaged to Sen and they are still working as the Space Police Earth Branch. But Hammie and Raptor?! They got nothing. They are being screwed in the character-development department. Kiriko quit her job to be a housewife (Mach vs Heart) and so did Jasmine in "10 Years Later", which is the epitome of the stereotype you're talking about. (I haven't seen Space Squad though so maybe she went back after that?) At least Raptor is a pilot and Hammie has some kind of ambition; Zyuohger for instance never gave either of the female Rangers any goals or career plans. Sela wanted to beat Leo but that was more to do with their rivalry and not going to lead to anything for her future. And why are you pointing out one moment that being a housewife is a stereotypical ambition, but then talking about the characters' marriages/babies like it's an achievement? By that measure, Raptor's desire for a romance would count as her doing something. Yeah, well I probably wasn't paying that much attention to that part in Mach's portion of the V-Cinema when I first saw it. So, I naturally assumed that she was still working in the police department and taking care of her son, Eiji. Now, to be fair. Jasmine actually did came back to work with the Dekarangers later on the 10 Years After reunion in order to help the gang clear Doggie Kruger's name. And in the Space Squad movies. Yeah, she is seen attending Sen and Umeko's wedding before Geki Juumonji and the plot of the film decided to drag her along since she a key suspect into helping Geki find his partner, Shelly and shenanigans start to occur. But for the Episode Zero prequel movie....uhhhh yeah, that's a Weee bit too uncomfortable for you to watch. Now to answer your question about why I pointed out the moment that being a housewife was considered to be a stereotypical ambition in my previous post. Well, I think my problem here is that it has more to do with the it was being handled and executed in the show. Maybe what they should have done is this...give us more character-focused episodes where we actually do get to see more of the female sentai heroines like Hammie and Raptor wanting to pursue that ambition earlier on in the show as part of a set-up for character growth and a personal choice of career in the finale. That is what's missing here for characters like Hammie and Raptor for some people. If they wanted Hammie to be a kindergarten teacher, then actually show her wanting to encourage children into following their dreams in previous episodes as part of her arc. Same with Raptor and her ambition about choosing either to be an idol singer or to have a boyfriend. Hell, I wouldn't mind if they actually set up Spada and Raptor to be in a "robo-sexual" relationship. (if you have seen Futurama, you would probably understand the reference.) Still, it probably would have gotten me to have an interest into liking the characters a bit more as opposed to the opposite which is.... nothing! Because that's how I felt about Raptor's character-arc overall. Absolutely nothing, and that is just sad.If they had just given us more character-focused episodes dedicated to them in wanting to pursue their ambitions earlier on in the show instead of just hinting that this is what they want to do after their mission is over, then maybe we could've gotten something to actually care about these characters. But, we don't.

I don't get why the Super-Sentai.net page hasn't been updated in months.

The reason likely is who ever in charge of said site probably been slacking and just haven't updated it. Or they don't have someone updating it regularly.

They should have. Southern King was the last monster added. Likewise the Leo Minor Kyutama & Zord.

Well my guess like I said is they likely don't have someone updating it weekly. Or maybe they are waiting to it ends. Then update it. Though I do recall that site and pr counterpart are pretty lacking at times.
