SPD and Mystic Force had Kalisshplosions too didn't they? And SPD and Mystic Force turned out to be great. Actually SPD's display of Kalishplosions looked kind of boring and well, they really don't go so well with the regular fight scenes. But if the rangers and villains were on motorcycles all the time, then it might actually work. But Mystic Force?! Well, I think the fight choreography was more emphasized on displaying super slow-motion camera movements, fulton torpedo and laser sound effects everytime someone punches or kicks another opponent. But the Kalishplosions in Mystic Force weren't as poorly-executed as they were in SPD or as horribly over-the-top as Operation Overdrive was. They were just "average!" to me. But yeah, Mack's "I, Robot" story-arc is a lot more interesting than pretty much anything from Victor and Monty's comedic antics in Ninja Steel. Even if Mack's actor was really terrible at hiding his Australian accent all the time in Operation Overdrive. But out of all the cast members in that season who actually did pulled of the fake American accents quite well, I would say, Rose, Tyzonn, Miratrix's actors were the best ones who did it brilliantly. Not a single moment of them breaking character in that season. Ronny's acting was "meh!" Dax was just trying to be more like an Asian "Skull", but without Bulk and Will is just Will, but I really can't stand his actor, Samuel Benta at all. He was and will always a horrible person in real-life. Especially on social media. He's even worse as a human being than Shoji Younemura. And no, it's not because of the fact that he an African-British guy. Ethnicity is not the issue. It's just the way he allowed himself to be a bad person in real-life is what really pissed me off about Mr. Benta being an actor. The only that Kalisplosions do to me is make me laugh looking back on the older footage. It's just so unnecessary, cheesy and I kinda love it. PR is always gonna be cheesy and those explosions are fire. Oh Will is trash, but no one said anything about ethnicity (Don't draw this out though. We don't need a thread long argument heh). We all hate Samuel Benta ever since that stunt he pulled. But yeah back on topic, Ninja Steel is inferior next to Overdrive despite the hate towards it. I actually didn't mind Overdrive btw. I was like 7 or so and I just thought it looked fun. But Ninja Steel doesn't have any life to it. It doesn't feel fun. It's beat for beat Dino Charge without the charm and enjoyment the old cast and crew gave us. I could ignore the bad things Ninja Steel wrote if there was some fun and enjoyment to it. The action scenes are really what attracts viewers and it's so boring to watch when it comes to Ninja Steel.

"Meh!" That's okay with me. But yeah, I could overlook the bad things about Ninja Steel as long as there are some noteably good things to like about the show. However, so far, it's sort of sitting in the mix between "Alvin and the Chipmunks movie squeakuels" level of bad and "Anime Censorship" level of bad. Yeah, I am pretty sure that you are familiar with the controversy behind anime censorship in the U.S., right?! Preferably, the questionable controversial censorship behind the 4Kids Yu-Gi-Oh English dubs and the original DiC and Cloverway Sailor Moon English dubs?!

"You know that ain't a jelly-filled doughnut. Those are carbs, Brock, caaarbs!!!
Also, terry916. That's cultural adaptation, not anime censorship. That's a different controversy. Look up Anime America's "top controversial moments in anime" for better examples.

Ninja Steel feels like an average season. It ranks higher than OO in my list but below SPD, MF, and JF. Megaforce is still the worst for me

I think the problem with Ninja Steel is the fact that this season isn't Ninja enough. It looks that the season's theme happened by accident and the production team had to handle with that.

I think the problem with Ninja Steel is the fact that this season isn't Ninja enough. It looks that the season's theme happened by accident and the production team had to handle with that. Yeah, about that...They didn't really need to make this season be all "artsy, and whimsecally, and knowledgeable and all wisdom-y about the whole ways of the ninja" or "the heart of the cards" like what Ninja Storm did. They just needed to use the aesthetics of the whole ninja theme and the visual aesthetics of craftsmanship and blacksmithing like Man-At-Arms: Reforged did. Now, my only issue with Ninja Steel is the fact that the villains, save for Madam Odious, who I still think should've been called, "Madam Ominous" in the show didn't really do anything to make themselves feel all that intimidating or interesting to watch. Galvanax was just... "there!" Ripcon was slightly better than Creepox from Megaforce, but I don't think he was as interesting as a villain general character then let's say, Villimax or Deviot from Lost Galaxy or Kilobyte from RPM, or even Koragg from Mystic Force. Seriously, Koragg from Mystic Force is a far better villain general character then Ripcon and Creepox put together and I don't even like Koragg's character at all. Victor and Monty....I hated them. But, I have seen far better side-characters then them. Hell, I have seen far worst side-characters than Victor and Monty. *cough!* Octoroo, *cough!* Marah and Kapri, *cough!* Leelee Pimvare, *cough!* and Mentor Jii. At the very least....they kind of act more human-like and are more memorable than Ernie and Mr. Burley from Megaforce and Super Megaforce?! And that's not saying much. If a stereotypical jock, who is full of himself and his pushover geeky sidekick act more human-like and are more memorable than the guy who owns a Frozen Yogurt restaurantand acts like Apu from "The Simpsons" that coincidentally bares the same name as the original Ernie from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Noah's Crypto-zooligist teacher....you know there's something wrong with this picture over here. But the rangers, themselves. Well, I only remember more of Brody, Preston, Sarah and Levi than I do about Calvin and Hayley. Since Calvin and Hayley didn't really have much of an arc for their characters. And I blame that one on the sentai footage of Ninninger. Redbot?! Not all that impressive. Just another superfluous side-character that should've been Brody's zord if there was a better build-up or an introduction of the zords in this season. But the only highlight that this season has to offer is the return of Kelson Henderson in the franchise. The last time we saw his name credited in anything was as the voice of Flit the Fly in Jungle Fury and Norg the Yeti in Operation Overdrive. So I am happy that Mr. Henderson is back in this franchise as a mentor character for a new team of Power Rangers. And you know what?! That felt like a breath of fresh air. So yeah, I mean Ninja Steel is literally nothing like Ninja Storm at all. Hell, it's definitely a lot better than the Alien Rangers mini-series, in my opinion. But as a season that is combining Kelson Henderson, ninjas, blacksmithing, craftsmanship and space alien creatures...it's kind of a "meh!" mixture, in my opinion. It just needs to add in some references or direct callbacks to Ninja Storm as a way of establishing some real continuity in the main Power Rangers universe, since Samurai/Super Samurai and Megaforce/Super Megaforce failed to do so. Or at least mention anything or anyone who was involved with the Wind and/or Thunder Ninja Academies. Teachers or students.

i said it before i too, It does suck they went to hs theme again and the ninja stuff is just there power source and not the main focus of the show. Like ninja storm, or jf was been a ninja school thing then hs guys again. That is issue i dont want to keep going to hs rangers over and over again. As hs aspects are the lacking area in show and writing, and there need to replicate a bulk and skull type character. It would have been better mick to been a ninja master or some space ninja came to earth and train the rangers and so forth in secret. They could still been hs kids like ns was but we focus more on ninja and less on school. Then redbot could been the alpha/humor character. And we didnt need victor and monty character.

What is a Kalisploshion lol? And why don't we like Samuel Benta? --- Super Megaforce is the bottom of the barrel followed by Megaforce and Samurai and then Ninja Steel. With every Neo-Saban season (apart from Dino Charge), Operation Overdrive moves up a spot on my personal ranking... 18. Operation Overdrive 19. Dino Super Charge 20. Super Samurai 21. Ninja Steel 22. Samurai 23. Megaforce 24. Super Megaforce

What is a Kalisploshion lol? And why don't we like Samuel Benta? 1) Kalishplosions are just a term that the fans have made up because former Disney-era Power Rangers executive producer and show-runner, Bruce Kalish had a final saying in the amount of background explosiins that were poorly-executed in SPD through Jungle Fury. But it has been argued by the fans that former Power Rangers action coordinator, Koichi Sakamoto and former Disney-era Power Rangers stunt directors and stunt coordinators, Steve McQuillan and Mark Harris are the ones who are truly responsible for the amount of poorly-executed Kalishplosions in the past four seasons under Bruce Kalish's run as show-runner for Power Rangers from 2005-2008. 2) The reason why many fans hated Samuel Benta as a human being is because back in 2008, during the very first Power Morphicon convention. The entire cast of Operation Overdrive, including Mr. Benta were invited to attend. Along with several noteable guests and actors from past seasons of Power Rangers, at the time. Four banners were going to be autographed and actioned off, so that the money would be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Mr. Benta took one of the banners for himself, got guests to sign it and has kept it for himself as proof of his evidence that he was there. He has not returned that banner to its' original owner, nor has he apologized for stealing it for himself. So yeah, Samuel Benta basically ripped off a bunch of sick children off of some money that would be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for medical supplies, and food, etc. And has been banned from ever returning to any future Power Morphicon events, for life. Unless, he apologizes and return what he had stolen. Also, he is a horrible person to follow on social media. So horrible, he makes Andy Dick look like an angel. So yeah, Samuel Benta...Good actor, but a really bad person in real-life.

Don't look at me. I didn't make that up. I am just telling you what I have heard.
Still, at least we all know that the rest of the cast members from Operation Overdrive isn't anything like Mr. Benta. So I guess that's a good thing?!
*sigh!* I hope they don't do anything remotely stupid that's gonna get them into a lot of trouble in real-life. Same goes for any other former Power Rangers actor from past seasons. Nobody wants to see what happened to Rick Mendina or Rene Naufahu (Mentor Jii) happen to anyone else ever again.
