Since the first 11 episodes just dropped, and save on thread spam, let's centralized all discussion on the first half of Season 2 here. You can still type personalized reviews on each episode rather than give your thoughts on a whole if desired. Where to watch: www.netflix.com/title/81354663

Just watched the first five in a row. Right off the bat there's a lot of plot progression, and Void Knight will surprise you with how his motivations change

I just watched the first four episodes of Dino Fury (season two) and it's progressing but I just wish that we had gotten to learn more about Void Knight's backstory, who he was in the past, how he met his fiance and how she ended up in a comatose and when he got his powers. But, I suppose it's best to just wait until the next batch of episodes come out later on in the year depending on what kind of schedule Netflix has when it comes to new premier episodes and when their release dates are. Now, on a positive note, episode four of season two is an adaptation of episode 27 of Ryuusoulger where unlike the source material, where that episode was a Red Ranger-focused episode, but a new power-up form is being given to blue. This episode is centered around her Blue and Gold Rangers, respectively. AND we finally get go see the right character earning a new power-up form. That's what pissed me off about Ryuusoulger as a show. Whenever we get character-focused episode on a certain individual, they ended up giving the power-up form to someone else who hasn't done anything to earn their new power-up form. Or like in Goseiger where we get one character-focused episode that just gives the focused character a new mech card for not doing much of anything. Then in the next episode, a new mech card is being given to someone else on the team despite the fact that it's not their character-focused episode. So, there's that.

Seen all eleven episodes of the first batch. I wish they'd actually cut the run at 9 as it had a great jumping-off point.

Wow, I think this season is actually better than the first so far. A lot of plot going on, really interesting stuff involving the villains. Characters being developed before the end of the show.
I'm really excited for the second half.

My quick reviews:
Numero Uno - Y’know, this really wasn’t the most bombastic premiere ever, but, something about it just felt so fresh that I couldn’t help but love it. And the opening scene with Zayto on the roof was badass.
The Festival - Honestly I’ve always hated the motorbike debut episodes and this one wasn’t much better. But it did have the fun flashback scenes. I always love hearing Sally Martin’s voice (and it’s nice just to hear the real voices in general unlike Making Bad 😂)
Missing Pieces - The memory wiping plot was a bit dumb but aside from that some great worldbuilding. Love that Void Knight is quickly filling up his machine and the Rafkon mystery is actually really intriguing.

Only have had time to watch first episode. Thought it was a nice start of the season. Some interesting stuff with the villains. And how void knight came back. And the Rangers them self where good as usual. And was fun seeing Amelia running buzz feed with Jane out.

Tiny Trouble - This one was kinda meh. It took them way too long to realize this was a baby zord they were dealing with. Speaking of, as soon as it reconnected with the mom if was clearly no longer baby sized lol. The best part was the ending with Santaura waking up.
Stifched Up - This one was great! They clearly aren’t just paying lip service to the LGBT community but actually including plots about what it’s like to grow up “different.” And tbh Fern’s new dress looked way better than the old one. And Santaura is very intriguing. The fact that she looks and dresses like a dead person is actually spooky, and she appears to be becoming more heinous than Void Knight (Derek? Tarek?) himself.

i thought VK's name was Dereck at first, but they clarify it's pronounced Tarek in later episodes

Jam Session - Okay for starters, perfect double meaning title 😂 I gotta say I’m actually very impressed with the emotional beats they’re hitting this season. I was fully expecting the Javi/Warden tension to just be wrapped up in the finale where the Warden would just say something like “I’ve always been proud of you Javier.” But they actually fully went there with Javi calling out his hypocrisy. On top of this I’m loving Santaura’s transformation into Void Queen. I’m looking forward to finding out what humans did to her to make her want revenge.
New Leaf - Just like above, I love that we’re once again delving into one of the central conflicts, this time Ollie and Amelia’s X-Files dynamic. I’ve pretty much assumed these two were supposed to be the ‘ship of the season but again I thought it’d be quickly slapped together at the end like most couples. But we actually got to see them work through their differences and get closer, I love it. And I’m just eating up all of this Void drama, it’s fantastic.

Watched episode 2 last night. A cool return for that ship villain guy. The fights where good. And I like the debuts of the bike and nunchucks.

Serious Business - I don’t get why we always need annoying child side characters. That part was bad, but the Void Knight subplot was fun. And his BDSM dungeon master clothes are kind of hilarious 😂
The Hunt - I liked how this one kept kind of swapping who was the focus character. There was Ollie and Amelia ghost hunting (while totes falling in love 😏), Javi being the voice of reason, and Zayto being… the voice of unreason lol. I’m a little disappointed that Void Knight (presumably) can’t morph anymore, but at least he’s still alive and can keep contributing to the plot.

So, what you're saying is that Tarrick/Void Knight is gonna get the brown Gaisourg suit later on in the show?!

Watched episode 3 this morning. I enjoyed this one. I like the memory altering sporix beast. And the continued mystery of what happened to zayto planet. The fights where good. And the stuff with the villains was also solid.
