not sure if someone mention this before, i noticed Tsurugi has heart palp means he is going to die? it's like watch Zyuranger (Burai), Abaranger (AbareKiller) and Go-Busters (Masato Jin) where the "Sixth Ranger" dies

^ That's what you're supposed to take away from it, yeah - hence Tsurugi surrendering his immortality. (The earlier thing where he volunteered to sacrifice his life to save Lucky, but Orion did it instead was probably intended as foreshadowing)

I am probably gonna get a long of heat from people who are fans of this show, but I don't understand why they are even trying to defend this hot mess of a show. The red ranger is a just a selfish, inept, spoiled brat who hasn't really done anything to actually earn his new power-up form, other than the fact that he is born of royal family blood or because his ancestor was "The Orion". The pacing of story arcs are just terrible and there is barely any focus on all the other main characters. It's like the show doesn't even know what to do with these characters. So, the producers and writers are just wasting their time trying to force these characters to exist just for the sole purpose of existing.
I mean, at least the characters of Kyoryuger had a purpose to exist, since most of their arcs had satisfying conclusion, except for one. While I am not a fan of it's final episodes, or the fact that Riku Sanjou has reduced everyone into being Daigo's "cheerleaders", but at least I can see some form of effort in character growth for Nobuharu, Souji, Ian, Uchii, Dogold and Candelira. But for the Kyuurangers?! Well aside from Hami and pretty much Spada, Shou Lonpou, Balance and Naaga. There is like literally nothing else for me to remember about Raptor 238, other than two character-focused episodes and the fact that she's voiced by Gokai Yellow's actress, or Garou who barely had any character-focused episodes dedicated to him. Koutarou was just lucky to even have an episode dedicated to his character, and Champ and Stinger....not sure why they even bothered trying to set up some kind of bromance relationship between them, but it felt like a corporate cash-grab idea to have an entire story-arc and a movie spin-off dedicated to them. I mean, it's a good backstory for the two of them to be connected to Scorpio's character, but I don't think we really need to keep focusing too much on them establishing some kind of bad fan fiction where it's just the two of them on a solo mission. Oh and the summer movie, yeah. That was stupid and I don't mean like "enjoyably stupid". But rather "Uwe Boll"-level of stupid.
Overall, I didn't like Kyuuranger. I just think it's a hot mess that I really do not feel comfortable in rewatching again. I am sorry. I know this is unfair for people who actually do like this show despite it's flaws, but this is not a show that I can highly recommend for newcomers to watch.
4/10. Interesting idea, but really bad pacing, lack of balance in character growth and focus in telling a coherent story and really unnecessary movie spin-offs.

Its not kyoryuger, you dont need to compare it to that. Plus 50~ episodes for 12 characters isn't easy. Are they doing great, no. But they aren't bad. Plus, Lucky got better.
People are fine not liking a series, but if you didn't like it from the beginning, you're most likely not going to like it by the end. Especially if you show the level of hate for characters like some who post do.

If we were being honest, character growth has never been Sentai's strong point. I know some will argue otherwise but the majority of characters in Sentai never really develop as characters as they are static characters: characters who remain unchanging throughout the story. For Sentai character development amounts to, "Wow you all sure have grown as warriors since the start of the year" or having certain aspects of their personalities look into, challenged, or tone done. And with Kyuranger having such a large cast, it was inevitable some would get the short end of the stick (And even then it's not always the size, even in teams with only 5 members you're gonna have a character or two who falls into the background), but I feel the show has manage to give almost every a role, even if it isn't a role you would have preferred. Garu is Lucky boy best friend, Balance and Naga provide some humor with Balance firmly in the tech guy position and Naga's lack of emotions allowing him to think more logically and call out fallacies, Kotaro had a arc where after getting his powers he just wanted to beat Jark Matter members up but now fights with a purpose, both Stinger and Champ have the closest ties to Jark Matter, Raptor's the pilot, Tsurugi needed to have his ego deflated. Really I say Spada and Hammie have the short end of the stick. Spada's the eccentric cook and Hammie literally just the other girl.
And I don't see how the story is incoherent, there's been a clear sense of progression happening throughout it. You had the first 5 episodes devoted to the formation of the team and freeing planets controlled by Jark Matter until they reached Earth. From there they we learn Earth was holding a secret that Don Armage wants to hide and it leads to a search for the Argos. We meet Tsurugi who adds another wrinkle to the story about having defeating Don Armage in the past and we get to learn what happened back then, while at the same time exploring Naga's lack of emotions. Now we learned how Don Armage keeps coming back and now we're in the endgame. Plus Kyuranger has been very serialized with very few episodes barely counting as true filler. It's okay if you haven't been enjoying the story being told, but to say the story doesn't make sense shows you probably haven't been paying too much attention to what's been happening.

To absolutely no one's surprise, Kuervo is Don Armage. And of course we get a scene where Hammie has a cutesy attack based on seducing an enemy (we have no eyeroll emoji but even if we did I guarantee it would NOT be big enough)

Honestly, I've actually enjoyed Kyuranger, In fact I kinda like it more than Zyuohger IMO. What I like more is the more serialized story telling where it has a more consistent and ongoing plot happening rather than it being a more episodic show like Zyuohger. I enjoyed the characters as well. Plus I like how they gave characters arcs in the show which shows a sense of development with the characters (with my favourite being the Evil Naga arc) and showing importance to them as some of them get exclusive power-ups to themselves, rather than just the Red ranger getting it. It's not perfect sure, some of the story elements are a bit iffy in some areas and some characters are a bit one note. But other than that, I enjoyed this show and I eagerly await Cops & Robbers in a few weeks.

^ Koutarou had a character song called "Blue Sky Boy", it was on one of the earlier music releases for the show
I'm seeing some speculation around that Kyuranger and Zyuohger might get a Vs Movie direct to video which would be released in March/April (like Toei used to do.) That seems unlikely though unless we get an announcement very soon - it would usually still be announced at least two months prior to release

what the hell was the deal with Hammy this episode? Seriously Hammy just took Amu's place as the worst Sentai Heroine. Amu may not have been much but she at least brought something to the team. Hammy is a waste of space

It was a Sailor Moon parody. And I can think of far worse Sentai heroines - the Magiranger girls for instance, at least Hammie doesn't teach girls they should be perfect housewives or that acting stupid is "cute"
