Hideaki Anno (Evangelion, Rebuild of Evangelion movies, Cutie Honey - the Live Action Movie, Shin Godzilla co-director) announced he is writing the script for a new live-action Ultraman movie, together with Shinji Higuchi (also Evangelion and Rebuild of Evangelion, the other co-director of Shin Godzilla, director of the live-actions Attack on Titan movies). This exciting, they gonna renew the character like they did for Shin Godzilla (which I consider a masterpiece. Sorry, american movies)
