Watched ep 1. I thought it was solid. But wow what they did at the end. Really they did that.

I’m surprised people are this emotionally invested in a poorly animated homoerotic cartoon from the 80s starring a prince with an ugly haircut.

Why do we need to end the first part with the villains winning over our heroes after Adam just came back from the dead?! Just this once, CAN'T WE AT LEAST HAVE OUR HEROES ACTUALLY ACHIEVE SUCCESS BEFORE IT'S REVEALED THAT THE VILLAINS ACTUALLY HAD A BACK-UP?! And why the Hell does Evil-Lynn she even need to go back to working for Skeletor?! Did she just forget about all that character development that she had in the entire first part?! If I find out that they are going to continue with this same route for the next part of the show, then I am not gonna keep watching this version of the Masters of the Universe. I am just give up on this version and stick with the 2002 remake of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Yeah, you heard me. There's another version of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe that existed in 2002. And I'll bet that most of you even forgot about its' existence until it was brought up, just now.

I’m surprised people are this emotionally invested in a poorly animated homoerotic cartoon from the 80s starring a prince with an ugly haircut. It's rich you complain about how limited and 'badly animated' Filmation's He-Man is, yet look at the state of what most animation looks like now which make Filmation look quite articulate in comparison. As usual, insulting and degrading 80s cartoons to prop up a 'new' version seems to be the 'in thing' again with the mainstream media and their indoctrinated acolytes, 'let's get everyone to hate the shows that made them as a kid because we've got a brand spanking new toy that improves on everything', only this has never worked with true fans, who appreciated the relatability, and moral conviction of Filmation's characters, looking past the 'bad' animation and seeing a story with tremendous heart and diverse values. Shows like Filmation were more than a commercial and the sum of their parts to those people, and they have every right to be angry. And 'homoerotic?', really, gay insults? It's current year Feel free to stay in ignorance, but by all means, troll harder.

😂😂😂 Oh my word, that gave me one of the best laughs of my life. You don’t like the superhero genre but still proceed to watch every film and give them scathing reviews but as soon as someone says something that isn’t glowing praise for something you like they’re the ones who are “ignorant/a troll.”
(And for what it’s worth homoerotic wasn’t meant to be an insult, the show was really just gay as hell. That was the only thing about it I ever found kinda fun.)

Heard that the CGI series was actually good. So, I might give a shot. At least it will be more memorable than Kevin Smith's abomination of a "sequel."
