"After 40 years" Oh come on the 2000's series was pretty good.
Pretty good trailer otherwise. Not super big on Orco's redesign, but still good trailer.

"After 40 years" Oh come on the 2000's series was pretty good. The show is a loose sequel to the original 80s series, which is 40 years old, it's not intended to mean the progression of the franchise overall.

So, yeah, the Fandom Menace are blowing up over this because
A. Smith confirms it's more about Teela B. Smith lies about watching the show as a kid because he got the years it came out wrong
Smith also hints Mattel may do a second series if this goes well

I think they really need to release a new trailer that focuses on how much screen time Adam/He-Man is getting. The online vitriol I've seen over the last two days is mortifying. Teela trended on twitter and not for good reasons.

Well season only 10 episodes right. If it's truly both he man and teela I would way best option to go us half episodes on he man and half on teela.

Smith stating this isn't a true sequel. Legally, they can never do one. Sounds an awful lot like they're making this clearer so they can distance it from being associated with the He-Man everyone loves, to have it stand and be counted as it's own thing. This is very swift damage control considering the week of bad publicity they've had.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation#1 (comic book)
While at times it was a bit too wordy, I liked there was a lot of emphasis on Adam and Randor's relationship and how Randor perceives He-Man's role in Eternia. Liked that Teela was also thinking of Adam while the King was comatose and He-Man at the very least considered telling Teela something in regards to that.
The King Grayskull stuff was decent actually, he's not just the "pure and noble uber black dude", he pays the price for some of his actions and the cost is high (death of his son D'are)
I like also that He-Man got involved in the past and sort of inspired He-Ro and the bloodlines that would follow, that puts him directly in control of the Masters' entire destiny

ROFL, massive spoiler review dropped on Youtube Orko, Roboto, and Prince Adam all die. Adam dies twice actually, first in the opening episode and again in episode five when he returns from the afterlife of Preternia to help re-forge the sword of power, only to be stabbed by Skeletor before he can summon the power. Skeletor then takes the sword and transforms . To be continued in Volume Two.
