"It's nothing you need to worry about." Orochimaru walked up to Uryuu, using his scalpel to pierce the Blue Ranger's arm until a small amount of blood began to seep out. "Interesting. It's not quiet sharp enough." The Sannin walked back to his work bench so that he could look for a sharper tool.
Uryuu held a wince as Orochimaru penetrated his arm. With him being his test subject, he realize this was going to be a painful experience. “Is that why Proto choose to work to you because you have a keen interest with conducting experiments to people like me?” The Blue Ranger continued asking, tapping his fingers out of panic.
"They'd probably be ready for that." Kumiko spoke up. She didn't like the idea of trying to bull their way through whatever Proto has planned but they couldn't leave Uryuu to die either.
Thanks to their powers, the Rangers were able to make it to the Tenchi Bridge in record time. Aaron allowed his feet to touch the ground after traveling a long way. The Red Ranger kept his head on a swivel, looking out for the first sign of danger.
"Everybody stay sharp. Hopefully we find something that leads us to Uryuu."
Mayumi looked around, her head swiveling around to cover every angle. "He hurts Uryuu, we're ripping his spine out and beating him with it, right?" she asked. "Because that's the only option right now."
Shinra groaned as she woke up from consciousness, barely moving her head to see the motionless forms of Oboro and Saizo. Ignoring the whiplash, the Jounin looked around her surroundings until she realized Kosei and Uryuu were gone, most likely being captured by the spy. She checked the state of her teammates, her lips pressed thin in concern. While Oboro would be alright, Saizo required immediate medical attention. Before she made her decision, she felt strong chakra behind her, causing her to turn to see the arrival of Uryuu's Ranger teammates. Knowing that they were here to find their friend, Shinra ran to them, calling out their names until she accidentally tripped on something.

"No. Our alliance is mutually beneficial." Orochimaru licked the tip of the scalpel containing the Blue Ranger's blood. "Hmmmm.. rather mild." He walked back over to Uryuu with a sharper tool in hand, twirling it in his hand. "I will commend your attempts to distract me. Perhaps on a lesser being, your words may have ensnared another but I'm afraid there is nothing you can say that will stop what's coming."

Davis arrived shortly behind Aaron and noticed Shinra's fumble. He then went to the point of origin to exactly where she tripped and it examined it. "Aaron, I think I found what she tripped on." Davis said.

“Oh, I wouldn’t even dream of it.” Uryuu sassed, his insides squirming in fear for the inevitable. He drummed his fingers so hard against the slab that it began to crack, causing the Blue Ranger to fall behind the rocks. He became surprised. Who would’ve thought his sheer panic would save him. Forgoing his celebration, Uryuu ran away from the Sannin, searching for the escape route.
"There!" The Red Ranger called out Shinra's presence to the other Rangers, rushing over to her as she tripped. "How badly are you hurt?"
“Just some cuts and bruises. And my head.” Shinra explained, rubbing her cheek from her fall. “Other than this small burrow track I stumbled, where’s Sawada-san and Kosei? Did the spy take them away?”

For a moment, Orochimaru didn't move nor looked shocked when Uryuu stumbled upon an escape opportunity, especially since the Blue Ranger didn't make a move for his Battle Morpher and Nin Shuriken. A slew of smaller snakes closed in on the young Jounin, wrapping him up to prevent his escape. Orochimaru walked over to Uryuu and smiled. "It's not time yet. The fun has yet to begin."

"Uryuu's been kidnapped. We're going after him now. As for Kosei, he is the spy. Asuma-sensei figured him out."

Mayumi looked at Aaron. "I can get Shinra-san back to the village while you guys go find Uryuu. I don't like the thought of splitting up, but I also don't want to send her back on her own," she said.

"I don't know if there will be time." Kumiko chimed in. "If this is really a trap for us, going in with fewer numbers may be even more of a disaster."

Orochimaru would thought his snakes trapped Uryuu by the ankles but it didn't work when all his snakes did was passing through the Jounin's body until he dissolved, courtesy of a water clone jutsu.
A moment later, the real Uryuu appeared with his morpher and Nin-Shuriken. "Sorry Orochimaru, but you can't use me as your lab rat for world domination." He said as he took off to exit he finally searched for.
"Kosei-kun?" Shinra became stunned by this revelation. Not only did Uryuu was taken, but her own friend betrayed them all. For what? She didn't know. "N-No..."

"Don't worry, minna. I can take Shinra and Saizo-kun." Oboro appeared holding an injured Saizo before walking over to a devastated Shinra. "Uryuu-kun needs you more than ever, even if he didn't want to admit it right away." She said, facing directly at Uryuu's comrades. "I don't know where this burrow track is from but knowing this animal, it knows what is doing. Maybe this'll help you lead to Uryuu-kun."

"I'm afraid you can't leave just yet." Unknown to Uryuu, another snake emerged undetected, biting the Blue Ranger and transmitting a special toxin designed to make him pass out. The Sannin took his time, walking over to Uryuu, smiling at his weakening form. He took the Nin Shuriken and Battle Morpher back.

"I know it's a lot to take in." Kumiko placed a hand on Shinra's shoulder in an effort to comfort her. "Thankfully, Asuma-Sensei was able to figure it out before anyone was seriously injured."

"It's the best lead we've got. Thanks." The Red Ranger spoke to Oboro. "Now hurry back to the village. If this is a trap, we can't have you three caught in the crossfire."

"Be safe on the way back you guys." Davis said as he nodded to the others. "Alright, so what's next? Follow the track?" Davis said as he pointed to it with his sword.

"Sure." Oboro said, adjusting Saizo before encouraging Shinra to leave as well. While this mission didn't work out the way they wanted, coming back to the village alive mattered most.

Minutes after Orochimaru dragged Uryuu away, Oyukoi popped out from the tunnel from the hidden area behind a large rock. Since he heard his liege's voice nearby prior to his incarceration, he knew he has to take desperate measures before it's over. Getting back in the hole, the otter prayed for the others to track the location using his tunnel while he's off to find where the Sannin had prepared to use his liege.

"Okay now let's see where this leads." With one additional step, the Rangers blinked and before they knew it, they were now trapped in a high-level genjutsu. In this genjutsu, each Ranger was in their own personal nightmare, suffering through their own individual tortures.
The Red Ranger looked up, only to see a large wooden pole emerge from the ground and tied to it was Uryuu, dripping in blood from head to toe. "Uryuu!" Aaron unsheathed his sword, running in his comrade's direction. "Hold on! I'm coming to get you!" Before he could reach Uryuu a shower of kunai descended from the sky, forcing Aaron to spin out of the way. As he looked up, he saw Proto, leader of Shinsei Toukai and the one who orchestrated Uryuu's capture.
"YOU!"
"So impulsive! You're going to get someone killed like that!" Proto's sarcasm oozed from his voice as he quickly dodged the Red Ranger only to appear in front of the other Rangers, slicing them up in gruesome fashion.
"NOOOOOOOOOO! Get away from them!"
"Sorry! I think I'm going to play with them for a while." The dark shinobi chuckled as he walked past the weakened forms of the other Rangers, leaving the Red Ranger paralyzed with a combination of fear and rage over what he thought was his failure to save someone close to him...again.

This time, Orochimaru decided to hang Uryuu from the ceiling made of rock, chained up by his arms with his Morpher and Shuriken back on the table. "You've been gone far too long."
"Lord Orochimaru!" Kabuto entered the room, removing his cloak and smiling, knowing that he brought good news. "Things are going according to plan. Lord Proto's jutsu is in place and the Rangers are all caught in their own torturous nightmares."
"Excellent work. Now I shall tend to the next phase of my plan. Please keep an eye on this one." Orochimaru smirked as he openly placed the key to Uryuu's chains in Kabuto's hands before walking away.
"So, I wonder what your friends will envision in their individual nightmares. Care to take any guesses?" Kabuto was making conversation, even though he could care less as to what was in the genjutsu as long as the job was done.

“I don't know, but I don't care!” Groaning in annoyance, Uryuu woke up once more but in a different position. For one thing, he realized his escape plan failed the first round and the other was something he never want to hear. His teammates. His friends. They’re trying to go great lengths to save him, but now they’re in danger, it’s all his fault.

Mayumi blinked and looked around, her heart racing as she realized she was back in the cave in the forest, the entire thing still on fire. She spun around, her eyes widening as she saw her mother pinned to the wall. "Mom!" she yelled, running forward. Her heart was racing, having dreamt of nothing but the cave and her mother's death since it happened, as well as everything htat came after. "Hold on, Mom. I'm coming."
A kick to the side of her head stopped the White Ranger's approach, her brother standing in front of her. "COuldn't save her last time, Mayumi. What makes you think this'll be any different?" Kazu asked, launching forward and tackling his sister.
Mayumi snarled, headbutting Kazu before flipping up and kicking him into the fire. "This time I won't lose," she swore. "I should have killed you!"
"Mayumi!" her mother yelled, the fire getting closer.
"Hang on!" the White Ranger said, rushing for her mother.
