Slott had indicated she was coming back on CBR's forums just before he left, and Carlie wasn't even the first Brand New Day era character Spencer brought back for his run.

I never thought she was toxic or a bad relationship with peter. Only thing I didn't like was when she got turned into a goblin. Really Brand new day Era to present. She was one of the better ones I thought. Vs michelle, or Anna maria, or The short term ones during parker industries stuff.

Also no biggie if any of you didn't like her. I just stated my feelings for the character. Out of bnd to spencer. I felt she was better of interests. Minus maybe Bobbi. As we didn't have my a option for so long. Though I always go to Gwen and mj first. Charlie as I said I liked her and Peter dynamic to her goblin change.

Can't say I'm excited for anything in the Marvel solicits this time other than maybe Kamala's five year anniversary...the X-Line has gone off the rails, and the spidey event of the year is just the same big event they did in 2009-2010 with Kraven

If you ask me, this is definitely all Betty's fault, Archie was ready to come back to her at the end of Waid and Flynn's run after the drag race accident but she didn't like how he went about breaking up with Veronica and rejected him. When they reunite at the start of the issue, she's clearly interested in him again (she obviously fell back in love with him after the prom hijack), but she's waited too long to make her move |

Also there's some callbacks to Mayday's older stories when she talks about her relationship with Normie (though why she remembers that one steamy embrace they had when she has an existing boyfriend is beyond me...in the context of the issue that scene comes from, Normie friendzoned her) |

So Heroes in a Stupid event continues as it's revealed that the heroes who go to Sanctuary don't actually go there to get help but to let some AI playcate their trauma in VR & Wally goes nuts Supposedly killing people only to die at Harley "This book will make you hate me" Quinn. Also more bodies pile up as Gunfire (a hero from the long forgotten Bloodlines crossover), Kid Devil (a Teen Titan), Tattoo man (Villain turned hero), Protector (Not Robin), Nemesis (A secret agent), Gnarrk (caveman), & Solctise (Another Teen Titan) are among some with interviews.
God this book sucks.

Meantime, over in Action Comics, the Red Cloud is revealed to be one of Bendis' pet creations Robinson Goode. Bendis in an interview had hyped up the Cloud as having a connection to Lois, but she's never actually met her in the book, so everyone assumed it would turn out to be Cat Grant or something. Nope. Lois doesn't even appear in this issue.
Oh, and the ASM newspaper strip is now focusing on a story involving Luke Cage and Killgrave.

Amazing Spider-Man#10
MJ talks to the Lookouts about her feelings for Peter and whether or not she feels she deserves to be with Peter when he could be with someone capable of being his equal. Jarvis tells her the hero she's in love with is lucky to have someone as indispensable as her.
Menawhile, Peter and Felicia conclude their struggle against the Theives Guild and get the better of them...or so they think, Felicia tells Peter they have what they want...a reputation, and more regular criminals are now lining up to pay tribute to them so they can curry favor.
Peter and Felicia have a conversation on the roof, Felicia reveals things haven't been right for a long time and it's largely due to not knowing who Peter is under the mask...which results in Peter revealing his identity to her again. Felicia is reduced to tears and they hug. Peter tells Mary Jane Felicia once again knows, MJ assures him she isn't jealous, and they snuggle up in bed together
Meanwhile, Peter and Felicia's reconciliation is observed by the mysterious bandaged demon, who seems quite angry Black Cat has been pulled back into Peter's web, he vows that sooner or later, it'll be just Peter and him (or is it her?)

Small correction on the body count: Tatooed Man did pop up alive in Doomsday Clock so he might've survived......Then again Rumors are Geoff Johns is aloud to retcon certain things going on in books so this is probably one of them.
F4 was good this week. The Future Foundation is off the board which I'm fine with since it's pretty difficult juggling so many characters in one book & the Fantastix don't really come off as asshole after acquiring the Baxter Building. Next time it's the wedding!
