So here's my take on Amazing Spider-Man I think the normal/moral/responsible Peter is going to die, and the wreckless/action focused/carefree Spider-Man is going to live and thus the franchise is given a "reset" where he has to work hard at juggling a relationship, an education and a job with none of the focus he used to have, and it'll be a real test of MJ's love and tolerance [/spoiler]

What are your thoughts on Fantastic Four#1? Liked Ben and Alicia getting engaged, let's hope they make it down the alter

Ok generally a big week this week. Not so much with the number of comics out more to do with 2 books in particular.
Let's get the big one out of the way with the return of the Fantastic Four: It was a relatively great start. Obviously it slow build but part of me accepted that. The 2 major spoilers has me mixed on one & fist pumping on another. While I'm happy at the prospect of Ben & Alicia getting married......These last few Superhero wedding has kinda left me cold.....Well the Batman one anyway I knew they pull out on X-men Gold (Though they did salvage it with Rogue & Gambit). Granted I don't know what kind of editorial mandate needs to require Ben to be single since his romance list isn't exactly long & like c'mon let him have his happy married life. Now Doom back to his ways? Hell. Yes. MTiO basically planted Doom's return to Latverian Ruler Super Genius Extraordinar but damn it great to see the Kings full return to form.
Amazing Spider-man: A very....Silver Age-y story. I mean I still like it & it's definitely something original for the standard for the Spider-clone plot. Just thought I'd never see something as silly as a science beam in modern comics....Or the Tri-Sentinel fpr that matter.
Champions: Well Jim Zub finally did the impossible: He finally got me interested in Viv.
Superman: Pretty good. Rogol Zaal's starting to be a bit more interesting & I did get a good chuckle over the fact that Nuclear Man finally exists in the main DCU.
Hal Jordan & The Green Lantern Corps: & so ends an era of GL. I'm honestly one of those guys who though Vendetti did a fine job with GL just that it was stuck between a lot of burn out between crossovers. This is a fine finale. I'm not big on axing Tomar-Tu since I wanted to see him redeemed but everything else was fine & Hey Hal & Carol are finally back together so that's a plus. The upcoming Morrison run I'm kinda mixed on since I'm not a huge fan of his writing but I do want to see wher GL goes from here.
The Flash: & so begins a new arc. Was pretty cool seeing Barry converse with other speedsters from the Multiverse.
