Yeah, no surprise Tim is getting the axe. People still sour he ditched Steph to find himself, nobody knows how to keep Bernard consistent either, and the Young Justice mini was the nail in the coffin. Zdarsky did great things with him during the Failsafe arc and made him a badass so maybe he should just stick to that book for a while.

ASM#22 spoilers
The giant crater in Pennsylvania we glimpsed at the start of the run? It happens at the end of this issue, and it wasn't Peter's fault...it was MJ! Basically the Mayan Death God intended to kill Peter and see a ceremony through to completion that would bring about the apocalypse. Peter and MJ are rescued by Paul, who is actually a whiz at creating technology using totems that fashions them into weapons. He gives them the ability to transport home, but the God latches onto Peter and MJ triggers the teleporter, the God is split in half and explodes, creating what we saw with the crater, Peter returns to the present while MJ is trapped in the apocalyptic future with Pau

Flash this week see's Barry & the rest of the Flash Family take one final assault on the Fraction, All the while Wally is revealed to be alive (what a shock) & is met by Gold Beetle....as well as the victims of Sanctuary!
Superman continues as he fights a Parasite infested Metropolis, We get insight on the coalition of mad scientists, & a new Villain(?) named Marilyn Moonlight.
Stargirl seems to be on a different wavelength because scans for the digital are out but the issue isn't out physically this week I guess. Nothing special though. It's the penultimate & the bombshells are going to be in the finale.

It's come to light that two unknown Marvel creatives recently pitched retcons of OMD to Marvel, but were turned down. They were interviewed by Retailer Perch and they claimed the reasons for this were
1. Several of the in house staff at editorial are not married themselves or don't have a strong opinion on it. They believe the thing makes Spider-Man not just too old, but 'lame'
2. They don't want to give the fans a victory and thus give them further reasons to be entitled and demand even more. These writers did argue however that OMD being undone would be huge for sales.
So I wonder who those writers were? I know Slott has boasted a couple of times of pitching OMD retcons to fans at conventions, and that led ultimately to Renew Your Vows, and Spencer was clearly on his way to doing something too...but maybe others are stepping up?
