OK, so we now for definite know Paul isn't on Peter's level, so why is she with him? Also, love how Jed writes Felicia here, she herself is finding it hard to process being back romantically with Peter.

Dark Crisis fizzles out this week. Multiverse is infinite, Deathstroke beaten, JL take a break for Nightwing to fumble the ball next year, & "The Light" hires Amanda Waller to take on DCU heroes for next year.
Dark Crisis was bad. Not like offensively bad or made me pissed off bad, Just middle of the road bad. It had stuff I like such as undoing Thorne's GL run, doing a better job on Black Adam's more heroic turn, & Willaimson obviously sells Teen Jon better than Taylor (any writer that's not Bendis at this point could), but It's clear that we have exhausted this Multiverse drama & I hope to whatever god is listening that we just don't do it for another 10 years.
In similar but better story Stargirl continues at Courtney & Emiko enter the Arrow Cave & take a boat to the location on where the missing golden age sidekicks are. Air Wave encounters them but due to the wonkiness of his powers causes their boat to explode ended up on Orphan Island where Emiko is immediately captured but Courtney is saved by Wing, Air Wave, Cherry Bomb, & Robotman's dog (yes seriously).

Catwoman#50 ends with Selina in jail for killing Valmont, and in doing so, saves Batman's life. Selina for some reason is an emotional basketcase about it when she's only known him for a few months. She says she will always love Bruce but needs to forgive herself. Bruce indicates he'll forgive her in time.
Black Cat/Mary Jane#1, MJ has Jackpot powers that work like a slot machine, the powers are based more on chance and not all of them are beneficial. MJ still loves Peter and is worried about him, telling Felicia to look after him. Paul is a chickens*it and thoughts of him and the kids hardly register with MJ at all. The two ladies are transported to Limbo, where Felicia learns she's required for a heist.

Marvel.com interviews Zeb about the big March reveals in Spider-Man www.marvel.com/amp/articles/comics/amazing-spider-man-zeb-wells-interview-what-did-peter-doRegarding the sneak peeks...MJ is already with Paul and the kids in those scenes, so perhaps this story is set in the present with whatever danger Peter and MJ faced in the last incident resurfacing and the story is framed as flashbacks? My hunch could be correct that the story could serve as the reconciliation for Peter and MJ in addition to explaining how they fell out. Peter could even redeem himself for what he did this time. Meantime, get a load of this gem Keep in mind Felicia is not featured in the previews, covers, or solicits. And Marvel randomly ask Wells, who's hyping this up as a Peter/MJ saga, to essentially say what makes Felicia a better fit for the 'purposes of this story' and no longer for the long-term This woman is a total and complete afterthought |

ROFL, some serious shade thrown at Adult Jon and Marvel editorial in Action Comics this week
Action Comics#1050
Lex uses a combination of Manchester Black's abilities and technology from Jon's nemesis Bendix to initiate Project Blackout, a telekinetic pulse wave that affects anyone with knowledge of Superman and Jon's public identities. Black is killed when the pulsar envelops the planet.
Lois, Jon's boyfriend Jay and Clark's parents are safe from the pulsar due to special shielding in the Kent Farm, the Justice League also have failsafes and are protected. Anyone who makes the connection between Clark and Superman or Jon with him, won't be able to properly process the information and will suffer anything from a stroke to brain death. Perry White is the first victim as he suffers a mild heart attack visiting the Kents and is taken to hospital.
Clark is summoned to Lexcorp by Luthor, who tells him he wishes to fashion Clark into a God for the people of the world, but he knows he cannot walk amongst them and share his secrets so he has taken the secrets from them. Lex suits up in battle armour and the rest of the issue is largely Clark and Lex duking it out. During the battle, Lex reminds Clark how lucky he is that he didn't take his marriage away (take that Marvel), that Jon in general is 'questionable' (take that DC editorial) and that he and Clark were friends in Smallville as kids (somebody saaaaaaaaaaaaaave me). Clark eventually uses his now enhanced powers to get the better of Lex and locks him up.
Afterwards, Batman tries to convince Clark the world forgetting can be seen as a positive thing, Clark worries about how it's affecting Jon, but Jon doesn't apparently give two cents and thinks the set-up is perfect for him

John Stewart: Emerald Knight.
Boy I'm glad this shit is never taking off & we're back to Corps stuff in 2023. You know for a guy who talked mad shit about Hal Jordan, Thorne really came up with nothing new for making John Stewart "the" GL to follow since this special pretty much dug up Xanshi & Katma AGAIN. Here's hoping Tamaki & Johnson shoot some new life into the GL franchise that's desperately needed.
