Damien steals a Demon's head air carrier and returns to Gotham, where he decides against reviving Alfred over combating a mental projection of himself. Talia arrives and tells Damien she's trying to sort out her family's reputation and wishes to make amends with him. Meantime, we learn Flatline has betrayed Damien and had kept his original heart, handing it over to her mentor, and Ra's mother says Ras can no longer use the lazarus pits and is dying!

ROFL, Respawn is just a Damien clone with Slade's DNA Kinda saw that coming. Honestly it's kinda a nice callback to Priest's Deathstroke where he was fooling Batman into believing He was Damian's father. Anyway more important details but Slade's also aware of the coming Dark Crisis & is plotting to fight it, & we learn Lex still has connections to his Legion of Doom pals (still better assistants than that worthless nobody Henry Bendix). |

Spoilers for ASM#93 If you thought Ben wasn't having the best time, times just got worse for him. Peter destroys the device that Ben believes can restore his memories and ends up beating the crap out of Peter, before surrendering himself to the Beyond defence systems. Later, he's shown to have survived and is living with Janine but can't seem to reconcile who he is with who he has lost, and takes on a new costumed identity called Chasm |

Shadow Wars kicks off with much of the gossip being true. Ra's attempts to atone himself by revealing all he has learned over the centuries to ensure a better future but is killed by "Deathstroke". Batman & Robin attempt to stop him but he escapes during the chaos & the Duo fall out once again after Bruce chose to save Damian instead & make a comment about Alfred. Meanwhile Talia survives & calls up everyone to go & kill Deathstroke & his Society. At the Society's base Slade reveals that it wasn't him but someone familiar (Grant? Rose?) Right before the assassins barge in to kill him.

Another interesting spoiler from ASM 93
Peter and MJ decide to move in with each other again, MJ's even the one to ask! Just after Peter accepts however, a mysterious being bathed in bright yellow light appears before them, he tells Peter that a path of blood has led him to Spider-Man and now Peter must come with him. To be continued in the relaunched ASM

While I'm iffy on the Ben situation & hope he'll go back to normal sometime in the future I gotta admit: That Chasm costume is pretty cool. Hope they put it in the next Insomniac game.
