Justice League Incarnate ends on a foreboding note. As Darkseid battles Empty Hand, Flash IV & Doctor Multiverse are able to save everyone else in time. Empty Hand utilizes the Oblivion Machine to open a pathway to the Great Darkness for Darkseid to finally confront....only for the Lord of Apokolips to be taken over by the Great Darkness. JLI goes in to find Barry only to learn about what became of him at the hands of Pariah. The JLI head out (Along with Apokolips forces who now rule under Orion) as Thunderer sacrifices himself to destroy the Oblivion machine as they begin to head to New Earth to deal with this opposing force. Pariah speaks with the Great Darkness of their plans to end suffering, as Darkseid is chained up as apart of The Dark Army....The Dark Crisis is about to begin..

Batman this week just kinda ended the whole Batman Inc. Plot. Batman Inc. Reveals they were undercover this whole time relating to Abyss & Lex & Abyss is able to get away while Lex is miffed about being tricked. Batman heads back to Gotham to deal with the Arkham tower stuff in Detective comics while calling Ghost-Maker to handle Batman Inc. (Guy was in ONE panel this issue so that tells you how much Willaimson cared about him), All the while Shadow War is ready to kick off.

A lot of Ben fans are irate over Kelly Thompson's issue of Beyond this week. Basically the facility where Beyond is brewing up super villains is full of corny comical characters like a boxing chicken, demon puppies, and a snowman. Beyond's brainwashing of Ben has taken it's toll and he decides to randomly turn on Peter and the Daughters of the Dragon so they don't get in the way of his revenge against Beyond, and unleashes the creature stored in 'Door Z'. Turns out it's The Lizard. Janine in the meantime is in New Jersey waiting on Ben's phone call, but decides to head back to New York and help out.
Fantastic Four sees the Destroyer merge with Galactus to form 'The Destruction', Surfer helps guide it towards the Reckoning. Meantime, Johnny returns to Sky's planet to find she's moved on and went back to her first intended Citadel. They're all on good terms after Johnny saves Sky.

Yeah but this is Claremont Nightcrawler so Kitty isn't his sister he has the hots for....Look I don't care if Daytripper is actually his Step-Sister it's still weird. |

The Amazon listings for the second and third volume trade paperbacks fare up for Wells and Romita Jr's Amazing Spider-Man run, volume two collects issue six/900, and something that has yet to be revealed, but no other issues. Issues 7-12 are instead collected in volume three!

Especially trying to haphazardly make some connections with the character desperately trying to salvage this trash. |
