Weapon H getting his own ongoing really grinds my gear. You have some many other characters deserving of a series & proven to have longevity & you say "Hey let's make a book on the dumbest idea ever conceived."

well it tends to be what marvel likes to do with new creations after a debut. Look at deadpool the duck, gwenpool, spider-gwen for examples. But i agree he shouldnt get book so soon. Keep the character going in the hulk, and x books for a bit longer. In news some stuff from spider-man family of books from NYCC panel: www.cbr.com/spider-man-marvel-legacy-nycc-2017-panel/

Yeah but at least Gwenpool & Spider-Gwen had interesting concepts or grew into their own thing. Weapon H doesn't. He's just wasting time & talent that could be used for better & more deserving characters in Marvel's cast simply because Weapon X is selling well. Anyway the real hype now is Doomsday Clock's first 6 pages are out nerdist.com/doomsday-clock-first-6-pages-nycc-watchmen-dc-comics/

They've apparently terminated the partnership entirely now.

The Metal storyline really makes my head hurt in a good way. Loved the focus on Supes this issue.
Detective Comics was great, the Tim of Tommorw realizing the future's not set in stone, and we get a reference to the missing Conner Kent
Action Comics was intense, Lois finally meets the corrupted Jor-El, who tempts Jon at the fortress with the promise of a wholesome future on a super-earth populated by heroes..equals one and all, with nothing to fear. Will he be swayed?
Amazing Spider-Man was predictable Slott...Peter portrayed as a loser. MJ turned up in the book again, but it's Slott, so more character assassination occurred, here she was a ditsy party girl again who seemed to think Peter was too old for humanitarian gestures from his friends. Bobbi was Michelle Gonzalez 2.0 at the start...although I did get a laugh out of her mocking her feminist agenda shirt.
Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows on the other hand ended it's current era in a very rushed manner. Normie had a change of heart off-panel and Ms. January, vowing revenge for Harry, took control of the Mecha Goblin. The X-Men breifly appear but have their powers drained, as does Peter. MJ's symbiote is incinerated by the Mecha Goblin, and Annie sneeks inside of the robot and destroys it from within before giving Normie a big hug. We skip eight years of character development in one page to see the teenage Annie receive her new costume and go out crime fighting with her parents.

Gene Luen Yang thanks readers for the fan support New Super-man got Y'know what Yang? You're welcome. MSN is a criminally underrated titled & was a mighty surprise to me at how good it is. You know its funny. I had my doubts about New Superman especially after the less then Stellar work Gene did on the New 52 Superman. Yet like Many others during Rebirth. They pulled up their socks and really started doing some amazing work. Also its interesting seeing how China reacts and develops their own Superheroes.

I'm not too fond of these "definitive future" stories, the timeline is always in flux anyway so you know someone will toss this out down the line.
Quite liked this week's Batman. Damien actually broke down in tears after he realizes Bruce and Selina are visiting his mother (who appears to be enjoying an orgy when we see her)
Superman was good too...Clark ignoring Lex's calls and going out with his family struck me as odd at first...then I read it again and Lex had been harassing him with meaningless summons for ages, so it made more sense.
Oh, and for some reason, that artist blunder with Peter's public unmasking was allowed to remain in this week's edition of Invincible Iron Man...Bendis even made fun of himself over it on tumblr.

Basically there was this big Expo dedicated to Stark's achievements.....& one of those was when Peter unmasked during CW.....Even though that was erased from everyones memory.

Hmm got any pics if that. That is odd thing to make it into a book.

Bendis excused it on Twitter as people mistaking the press release from Civil War as a "party for rich people" which is a weaksauce way of saying "I'm Bendis and I care not for continuity as per usual"
