As I'm sure most of you heard, yesterday Marvel lost a legend yesterday morning. That's right. Stan Lee passed away at 95 after a lengthy illness. I myself was nothing short of shocked after I got the news. I do know for a fact that he had finished filming his appearance in Avengers 4 shortly before his death so he will appear one last time. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
R.I.P. to a living legend 1922-2018

No need to be rude. Some of us are fans of the Marvel stuff. I myself like both, but prefer Marvel. My kids grew up with both.
BTW you are missing the point of this thread. Its to honor a man who devoted his life to creating numerous characters which a lot of us grew up around watching in movies, tv, and reading about in comics.

An elder titan in an industry which produces seldom titans today. Guy was a walking theme park, a living breathing attraction, he carried himself off as an exciting, charismatic cartoon come to life, and he became as much a fixture in popular culture as any one of his heroes.

Ya was very terrible to heard the news yesterday. I had always wanted to meet him. And he has created many characters I love. Rip Stan the man.
as for mcu cameos we do still have a few more times we will see Stan. As when they where shooting avengers 3/4. Stan filmed a bunch of cameos all at once. Which will be for captain marvel, avengers 4, spiderman far from home. Which will likely be his last mcu ones. I don't know if he had one for spider verse or either of the 2 xmen films out next year.

I'm really irked more people seem to care more about his cameos than his impact on the buisness. I know you're not one of them, but it is a recurring thing I've seen Usually his cameos were the only good things about half of those movies.

Just proves you are not a true fan of Marvel. My question is why? The movies live up to the comics. Stan Lee made sure of that.

I don't know if he has posthumous cameos in future Disney attractions, and Marvel's New Warriors.

he could if he had filmed or recorded stuff. But after the next few mcu cameoes he has left. All we likely will get in future films is maybe a photo of stan in film in some fashion like they did in the netflix shows. I have done some more digging he wont have cameoes in either xmen films next yr. He did record stuff for spiderverse and wreck it ralph 2. As for mcu films it is confirmed he did captain marvel, and avengers 4. He may or may not have done one for far from home. As no clear reports are out on that. Along with we dont know for sure what he filmed fully when he did stuff last year/earlier this year that was shot by james gunn.
But as for the cameoes stuff sure it sucks if folks only think of him for that. But for younger fans or folks who dont read comics or not to verse in the comics stuff. OF course they will know him more for his tv and film appearances and all that. But i dont see why that is all a bad thing. Sure you should know the importance he and the many other creators did for comics and all that.

It was sad to lose Stan Lee. He will be missed. At least, he won't see his creation go out of business.
