^ Then you're mistaken.
Marvel Studios leases Peter and his supporting cast from Sony much in the same way that the WWE leased the name "Hulk" from Marvel Comics, and were only able to hire Tom Holland for the role of Spider-Man with the direct approval of Tom Rothman.
You are also mistaken when you say that Sony does not have creative control over the solo Spider-Man films, or that they do not have to be apprised of how their characters are going to be used in the films that are financed by Marvel Studios.
When Kevin Feige and his team at Marvel Studios are working on a film such as Spider-Man: Far from Home, they are being employed by - and must therefore answer to - Tom Rothman, and when Peter and his supporting cast appear in a film that is financed by them (Marvel Studios), Feige and the directors/writers of said films are leasing those characters and are therefore constrained in what they are able to do with them on their own.
In other words, Marvel Studios could not have made Peter a casualty of the Infinity War had Tom Rothman chosen to object to that narrative decision.
Also, Venom is not explicitly connected to the MCU and does not fall under the purview of the partnership agreement signed between Sony and Marvel Studios, but there is nothing whatsoever legally prohibiting Sony from contracting Tom Holland to have appeared in it had they been inclined to do so.

I am not mistaken everything I been reading on how the lease deal is is what I have said. But we are just going to go around and around on this. So how about we just end and agree to disagree. So we don't derail the thread.

^ Everything you've been reading about the partnership agreement between Sony and Marvel Studios is wrong, then, because, under it, it is Marvel Studios, not Sony, who must request permission to use Peter and his supporting cast.
And this conversation isn't detailing the thread because it's relevant to what Sony chose to do with the Venom character and could conceivably do in the future.

Again let's just end this debate as we are not going to go anywhere. And let the thread get back to the topic at hand which is this film itself.

Wonder how he's gonna defeat his son. In the comics, he teamed up with Spider-Man to do so before Spidey hit them with a sonic blaster. Not sure how they won in "Maximum Carnage".
