Well according to article he was requested by producers to leave. Guess his character wasn't in the plans for what ever next season will be. Though I doubt character would move to a city with a active hero who will be on a show.

Great episode last night! Khalil definitely showed he's better than the Painkiller Program! Now if only they could somehow work as one and become warriors of justice! And Jefferson revealed the existence of the Multiverse to his family before referencing his new friends! Now I'd like to see him call Barry & Team Flash to help him out next season. Imagine how much fun Gambi, TC, Cisco, etc. could have!

Yeah! Though Jefferson might be a little weary of Wally. And since he knows Barry, Cisco & Caitlyn, they would have to see him. Maybe bring Iris so Jefferson & his family can meet the love of Barry's life and the source of his hope.
