I couldn't find a Godzilla based thread so here we go... First off, I have always been a huge fan of the Big G-man! I have a whole whack of the old series to the present... Not a big fan of this version... The story was meh, and the "evolving" aspect was weird. The new huge open mouth to fire his thermal-nuclear breath was weird, and how once done he freezes up? The whole movie was just weird. Now we have the anime version of him out... Which is cool, but then I saw the new Mechgodzilla... Okay weirded out? Sure he has the overall look, but the head and pincer beak? Not really impressive. The body is fine, but the head is throwing me. What do you guys think of this look? What are your thoughts of Godzilla overall?

Brand new Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer's out and it looks goddamn amazing. I'm honestly as excited for Godzilla as I am Avengers Endgame.

I apologize for reviving a dead thread but I recently finished the Anime Trilogy on Netflix & Hoo boy......I'm sorry to anyone who did like this trilogy but to be blunt it was dull as hell. To put it simple if you wanted Attack on Titan & Godzilla The Half Century War blended with Gen Urobuchi's one note trappings & suck all the life out with some psudo-intullectual bull you'd get this trilogy. There's cool ideas here don't get me wrong Godzilla evolving to the point where he's the Earth? Neat, Ghidorah being an otherworldly Elder God not bound by the Laws of this Universe? Cool MechaGodzilla being mostly nanomachines? Alright but none of that really matters when your cast is boring as hell with no consistant characters (expcept for maybe Metphis but that's because he's so cartoonishly evil through out all 3 films), You have lackluster animation, & The big guy who's name is in the title of this trilogy feels like an afterthought. Frankly I'd rather have gotten a movie on the Monster Apoclaypse Novels because the stuff that went on in that was a lot more interesting than anything in this trilogy.

Godzilla vs Kong! Is it coming out this fall - or delayed until May 2021 as some rumours were swirling? Here's the clip of what to expect...
I hope it's false that we have to wait any longer for these two to clash! I hope it'll still be a Nov 2020 release! But time will tell!

Comet has been airing certain classic Godzilla movies lately. Namely "Destroy All Monsters", "Godzilla vs. Megalon", "Terror of MechaGodzilla", "Son of Godzilla", etc. Not sure why they're not showing others.

License reasons are the likely deal. Other networks may have rights to show xyz then another network can.

Comet's an okay channel. Though they mute certain words like one that Bill said in the first "Bill & Ted" movie. And they show movies a lot of us have never heard of. Some movies we have like "Terminator", "Meteor Man" & "Ghoulies".
I actually enjoyed the 90's American Godzilla movie. I have the soundtrack and got the animated series that takes place after it on DVD.

Not just movies they do it with the TV shows they Airing. I been watching the channel since April when I heard about it. And heck they very inconsistent on what bleep out. One episode hell gets bleep next dam but another episode says he'll and not bleep. Plus It seems that it's cause it's parent company.

"Hell" isn't a bad word like "Ass" or "Dickweed". Plus, why air movies like certain horror ones when you're gonna mute a lot of the dialogue?

Well like I said I seem them bleep and not bleep hell and dam for examples. But like I said very inconsistent what bleep and not bleep. Also I seen a clip from a episode of outer limits where a lady in a white tank top getting blurred even though you are not seeing her breasts at all as she in a tank top. Just they don't seem to have any rhyme or reason for what censored.

I seen most Godzilla movies from the first to the second American one. I'm not a fan of the 1998 Godzilla movie, although the cartoon series was superior to that movie. There are Godzilla movies that I hasn't seen, yet. I hope to see them soon.

My first Godzilla movie was Vs. Biollante. I remember watching it with my dad early on a Sunday morning back in 98 before church and I remember thinking "Where can I find more of this to put into my eyeholes!?" I just remember thinking it looked like an upscaled Power Ranger battle between two monsters and only later did I learn there was a whole damn franchise preceeding Power Rangers and Sentai by extension.
