Well, WatchMojo is at it again with another list of some of the "best" Power Rangers fight scenes. Any thoughts on this list?

Not as embarassing as their crossover list, I guess. The Forever Red Moon Battle should have been knocked down a lot lower for that awful resolution alone. Zedd vs White Ranger, Astronema vs Red Space Ranger, Turbo Rangers vs Piranhatrons in the Power Chamber, and Ransik vs The Time Force Rangers should have all placed.
I honestly would have put the Megaforce Rangers blitzing through as many Ranger modes as possible against Marvo ahead of some of the ones that made this list.
Personal Top 10
10. Red Rangers vs Machine Empire and Cogs on the Moon 9. Ransik vs Time Force Rangers 8. Time Force and Wild Force Rangers vs Mut-Orgs 7. Space and Galaxy Rangers vs Psycho Rangers 6. Red Space Ranger vs Astronema 5. Tommy vs his Past Ranger forms 4. Turbo Rangers vs Piranhatrons in the Power Chamber 3. Red Ranger vs Green Ranger 2. Bulk and Skull and Angel Grove vs the Quadtrons 1. Zedd vs White Ranger
Zedd vs White Ranger because it’s : 1. The face of the franchise against the most iconic villain 2. The first time a big bad went head to head with a Ranger 3. Cathartic to see Zedd toss Tommy around like a rag doll and make fun of his martial arts tics

Bulbasaur, you forgot about Doggie Cruger taking on 100 Crybots, the final battle between Lothor and the Ninja Storm Rangers, Messogog vs. Lothor, the Jungle Fury rangers vs. the Spirit Rangers and of course, Trent vs. the evil white ranger clone. Unfortunately, I have to disagree with you about the Megaforce team fighting Emperor Mavro for one reason only.... NOBODY EVER SHUTS UP DURING THE GOD-DAMN FIGHT SCENE!!!! WHY CAN'T THEY JUST LET US ENJOY THE FIGHT SCENE IF THEY HAD JUST SHUT THE F@#$ UP?!

He didn't firget, its his opinion. And also, greatly ignored fact is that, in terms of acting, most PR fight scenes should be considered "obnoxious" because either their talking or making irritating noises like "HIYA!!!" or other things like that. I don't mind the talking to be honest, while hearing the constant "HIYA!!!" or "HAAA!!!" is one of the worst things I've had to deal with in a show.

I Def take Tommy hiya in fights vs neo Saban silly reasoning of all the talk in fights. It should only be some talk when needed and then silence in the fighting.

Many action shows have the heroes/villains insulting or taunting each other. Not many action series have most characters (cause its not just Tommy and not just in MMPR) shouting "HIYA HA HA HIYA IYA HA YA HIYA!!!" for the entire fight. The sound of adult anxt and tension as the cast try and poorly perform at imitating stereotypical karate grunts caused me to feel like my head was going to blow as a kid. Nowadays, when I rewatch some of my favorite older seasons, I feel annoyed as all Hell, but can't help but laugh that they put it in. I'd rather hear Neo-Saban taunting and insulting, then "Oh listen kids, I sound like I'm doing karate due to stereotypes and thus, take me seriously as I grunt this noise the whole fight, as I perform most actions". Its ridiculous and I honestly see it as a big joke, if nothing else, compared to the talking which, I don't mind, but can see why others do. Imo, they can talk and taunt each other to a minimum. Silence during fighting isn't necessary, but just keep everything balanced and use it where needed.

If the taunts and insults were actually well-written, weren't annoying as hell and aren't horribly-executed and directed, I might take the fight scenes in the Neo-Saban era more seriously. But, until then. I will stick with the fight scenes from In Space to Dino Thunder. Or any action scenes that were better handled and directed by Charlie Haskell, Worth Keeter and Koichi Sakamoto.

I don't mind the talking to be honest, while hearing the constant "HIYA!!!" or "HAAA!!!" is one of the worst things I've had to deal with in a show. I agree with this. Probably because I'm a talkative person myself. If I were in the same position, I would keep talking to distract myself from the dangerous situation (Wait, did Bridge & Dax talk a lot during battle?). Also, I think filling in fight scenes with what Zedd calls as "unnecessary hiyah" feels kinda... uncreative.
