My dad's heard some bad things about the series. He said that it won't last a season. I defended it out of my concern for the fact that the critics in particular might have a problem with the lead being a lesbian. I got some female friends who are lesbians and they're great friends! Hence why I'm okay with it.

Everyone I've seen reacting badly are throwing fits because "It looks too social justice warrior" and they complain about Ruby Rose's acting. Personally, I hope it last a couple of seasons just to make the whiny dudebros shut up. They keep complaining "She's Batgirl, not Batwoman!" not realizing it's two seperate characters, and it makes me laugh that these so called "Comic book experts" are wrong all the time.

I think my dad retained it because he believes everything should be done the way it was in the ORIGINAL comics. Hence why he hates how they change things on shows & in movies. One has to consider that back then, certain forms of logic & stuff weren't taken into consideration and/or didn't exist!

I am sure show will last a couple of seasons. It's not like it needs to be big bang theory level for ratings to last. If it holds 1 to 3 mill for episodes the cw will be happy.
