To me that character seems more like a minor threat vs being an over arching maim foe.

Well here we go new season has officially started. Still a bit sour that they went this route of writing off Kate and bringing in a whole new character. Ryan was a nice addition and new life in the show. But I still would have liked to see Kate story still go on with a new actor. I hope she is still alive and not dead. So Mayne down the road maybe ruby would make occasional guest spot. Vs being a full time player.
I did like set up for Ryan and how she tying to the gang and to alice. Also it was fun seeing Tommy as Bruce and all That. I hope he will be around for a bit and we get to see Bruce actor play real bruce/bats at some point in the show. I did like seeing bat mobile in action too.
I was a bit surprise to see alice blab to commander that Kate is bat woman and also Kate letter to Sophie revealing her ID too. Curious to see where new baddie will play into things same if we learn more about kate. Overall a good start to season.

First Lex tells Lena about Kara being Supergirl now Alice telling the Commander about Kate being Batwoman? They just love to get into their skins.
As for the cancellation of the crossovers after Crisis on Infinite Earths I think the shows need a break from crossovers.

I personally am happy they went with the suggestion I had of killing off Kate Kane. It wouldn't have seemed right to just leave her as missing since Ruby Rose will not be returning to the show.
