How is it that the freshman season has the best storyline and best writing in any of the CW shows? Seriously. Tonight's episode of Batwoman was great.
Finding out that the Beth from the end of last week's episode was really Beth was great, she knows about Multiverses and is surprisingly ok with that revalation. Alice continues to be a bitch. Credit to Rachel Skarsten for being able to play two versions of the same woman so damn convincingly. She sells the confusion of Beth not knowing what the blue hell is going on and Alice's constant flippant behavoir perfectly and I love it. Nice little twist of Beth and Alice being unable to coexist on the same Earth at the same time.
No new episodes for a couple of weeks which is weird but ok.

Well next week is superbowl. So they probably didn't want to air new episode on that night. Which I am glad for. I too really liked the episode. It was fun seeing this Beth is indeed from alternate earth and displace due to crisis. I did like learning a little more of prime beth/Alice turn to alice. And it was fun seeing Kate save the day not in the suit. I totally expected alternate beth to get killed. Which would be sad. And curious to see what's wrong with both beth and Alice at the end. I totally expect it being some deal of two comically signals can't be in close range to other deal I see in other shows.

That doesn’t make sense there were two bartenders that are from different earths, and they were on the same earth in Supergirl, and nothing like Alice & Beth happened to them.

How did this show get renewed for a second season? When it’s ratings including DVR and late viewing comes in as at a dismal 0.68

again its all what the network feels is good for them. plus they probably get a license fee from dc/wb having the shows. Plus also compared to the other cw shows its not like the cw gets big ratings for there shows. Compared to say cbs or abc where shows get like 10 mill viewers. The cw shows tend to get 1-3 mill range and the network seems totally fine with that. Plus same goes with delay viewing or watching on cw website and other stuff like advertising and what not. Also just going through ratings of all the cw shows and lets just talk about current season. Looks like flash and supernatural are the highest rating ones currently with around 1.2-1.5 million viewers for live viewing. Plus also like i said looking at live numbers and dvr numbers for the shows. Yes most of the other cw shows are currently hitting like .5-1.2 million viewers. But then when you combine the numbers most of the shows are then getting like 1.4-2.0million viewers. And like i pointed out the cw doesnt get major raiting beyond pilot episodes/crossover/special episodes compared to the other big networks who shows get 5-15million viewers. And so most of there shows going from 2006-present tend to fall in the 1-3million range and as a network they seem to be happy with that. With most shows getting at the minimum 5 seasons before they end.

Dude, you sound like my dad about Batwoman! He said it won't last more than a single season! He doesn't like certain modern changes to ANYTHING in comic books. Even changing things to sound more realistic & logical. Like the spider that bit Peter Parker being genetically altered/engineered rather than radioactive.
