...do you think would have been interesting to see? (Thread title too long)
Season 2: Instead of Lord Zedd, Goldar was suppose to usurp Rita and take over (you can see the seeds for this in the back half of season 1 when Goldar is coming up with all the evil plans and Rita just goes with it)
The White Ranger was going to be a new character entirely played by Brad Hawkins
Potetially they would have done a more straight forward adaptation of Dairanger if Bandai had planned for Mighty Morphins commercial success (according to Jeff Pruitt the reason the Zyu suits were kept and Zyu2 footage was ordered was because not enough toys were ordered and when Bandai ordered more they needed to show to keep the zyuranger suits less the new shipment of toys became shelf warmers)
Turbo: Doug Sloan at least, wanted to ignore the comedy source footage and continue making the series darker and more mature. Also Jenny Hunter from Cars Attack and a character named Michael (an intern at Tanya’s radio station) were suppose to be Rangers instead of TJ and Cassie
In Space: Justin would stay on as blue, Divatox would continue to be the main villain with Yugande/Ecliptor as her new head general, Bulk and Skull would start a civil defense force on earth while the Rangers were in space
Time Force: They wanted to do more time travel stories instead of the 2 they did plus the movie world two parter to give the false illusion of time travem
Operation Overdrive: Was suppose to be less reliant on sentai footage and more ambitious with the globe trotting aspect
Megaforce: Bates wanted Yost to reprise his role as Billy as the kids science teacher instead of Burley. More was suppose to be done with Troy as the chosen one beyond a prophetic dream and going Super Saiyan once, Jake was suppose to want to try to get famous off being a Ranger and more was suppose to be done with the Rangers being in being in school beyond what we got where we were lucky to see them unmorphed for longer than two minutes
*Not including Hexagon because that was never going to happen and Amit’s Samurai pitch was clearly something he came up with after the fact since it included Bulk even though we know Schrier was asked back last minute

In Space: Justin would stay on as blue, Divatox would continue to be the main villain with Yugande/Ecliptor as her new head general, Bulk and Skull would start a civil defense force on earth while the Rangers were in space No!!!! Absolutely no!!!! Justin should never be the blue space ranger. Let him serve as a side-character, or an assistant to Alpha 6 and D.E.C.A. NO DIVATOX AS THE MAIN VILLAIN OF IN SPACE!!!! Get rid of Elgar, but keep Divatox as a side-villain serving as a rival to Astronema. Keep Astronema as the main villain, but don't revive her with magical tears at the end of "Countdown to Destruction". Keep her permanently dead at the end of In Space. Time Force: They wanted to do more time travel stories instead of the 2 they did plus the movie world two parter to give the false illusion of time travel Operation Overdrive: Was suppose to be less reliant on sentai footage and more ambitious with the globe trotting aspect Megaforce: Bates wanted Yost to reprise his role as Billy as the kids' science teacher instead of Burley. More was suppose to be done with Troy as the chosen one beyond a prophetic dream and going Super Saiyan once, Jake was suppose to have tried to get famous off of being a Ranger and more was suppose to be done with the Rangers being in being in school beyond what we got where "we were lucky!" to see them unmorphed for longer than two minutes. At Time Force, I say rely less on adapting the entire story of Timeranger and focus more on original stories about time-travelling in the show. Operation Overdrive.....I say make it into another Space-opera season, but have the rangers actually explore other planets while searching for intergalactic treasure that will lead them to the jewels of the Curona Aurora which are scattered across the galaxy. No more "Grounded on Earth" bullsh*t!!!! Megaforce...I agree on that, but. I would say keep adapting Goseiger all the way through, and save Gokaiger for a separate Power Rangers adaptation in its' own series after two years of adapting all 40 episodes of sentai footage from Goseiger.

Megaforce having the Megaforce Rangers be related to a veteran ranger. The Armada being the reborn Machine Empire with Sprocket as king of the Machine Empire.

So for clarification this isn’t me saying what the seasons should have done just actual early plans for those seasons that didn’t happen

In the Sentai Serpentera was actually a... hero? When Tommy/Green Ranger got a Thunderzord have him get Serpentera (Dragonzord upgrade) as his zord and not Lord Zord would have been cool.

Umm no the sentai counterpart was not a hero. It was a villain mecha. And no reason Tommy would have gotten that. As white him being white ranger at the time and using sentai zords of the series it ended up being falcon zord along with the alien rangers shougon/battle zords. Also if I recall seprentara sentai counter part wasn't used much. Which is why it didn't have a long time in us adaption.

It wasn't a hero but it was certainly not a villain mecha either.(Please do a small amount of research next time guys!!) It was a powerful dragon deity angered by the Dairangers and Gorma (Dairanger's main villain group) battling as, this fight between good and evil was upsetting order in the universe. If the two groups couldn't work out a truce, the deity would destroy Earth as a punishment. Not technically a hero or a villain, more of a supporting neutral, but a big influence on Dairanger's final arc.

Okay, here is what the description of him says, Daijinryuu (大神龍 Daijinryū, Great God Dragon) (or Serpentera to us) is a giant dragon who was created by the universe to preserve the natural balance of the cosmos. According to Kameo, the reason for his appearance is to stop the human race's foolish conflict by destroying the Earth. Because of this neutral standpoint, he will kill anyone, innocent or guilty, if he deems them a threat to the universal balance.
Similar to the Mythical Chi Beast RyuseiOh, Daijinryuu largely resembles a Chinese dragon. While traversing the universe, it appears serpentine as it flies. It also has the ability to reconfigure itself into a more bipedal form, where its knees reverse and its shoulders shift upwards into a more humanoid configuration.
Character History
First appearing during the Dairangers' battle with Great Famous Pachinko Player, Ep. 37: You Have to See It!! A Huuge Guy Daijinryu destroyed most of Tokyo before moving on to attack other cities across the world, including the Gorma Palace. Returning to Tokyo when the Dairangers and Pachinko Player resumed their battle, Daijinryuu crushed the Gorma warrior beneath his foot before blasting DairenOh apart. As Kameo transformed into Daimugen and took RyuseiOh into his shell to protect him, Daijinryuu attempted to crush him underfoot as well, but relented after Master Kaku and the Gorma Emperor negotiated a ceasefire, leading him to return to space. Ep. 38: Huh!! A Ceasefire!?
A short while later, Daijinryuu returned to Earth after sensing the immense power of Akomaru's demon bodyguard Ikazuchi. Ep. 42: A Straight Line To Mommy Deciding to eliminate the root cause of the conflict, Daijinryuu enchanted the citizens of Tokyo to jump off the edge of buildings to their deaths, Ep. 43: The Ultra-White Prohibited Past requiring Master Kaku to use his Kiryoku to save them. Satisfied that his point had been made, Daijinryuu left and Kaku decided to disband the Dairangers rather than risk another confrontation. Ep. 44: Impression!! You Cry Too
During the Dairangers' final battle with Shadam, Daijinryuu returned a third time, finally realizing that the Gorma were to blame for the war and proceeded to destroy the Gorma Palace. Ep. 49: I-i-i-it's The Final Decisive Battle After both the Earth Shaking Jewel and the Lai-Lai Jewels were scattered by the spirit of Master Kaku, Ryo ended the conflict by killing Shadam which led to Daijinryuu finally leaving Earth for good.
SO, not really a good or bad guy, just a force of nature to keep the balance. Could have made for an interesting Thunderzord power up for Dragonzord despite the small amount of footage.

Yeah, sad, had great potential to be more than just a huge zord that timed out when stepping on Tor and powering down. All that build up for a let down...

Im going with Turbo being darker... But I dont know how that wouldve played out with Justin being a child. It wouldve been kinda hard to tie the two together. But Im willing to bet there wouldnt have been a bomb to destroy in every episode. That was just stupid. Althought Turbo did have some funny moments that werent forced on you, like MMPR Bulk and Skull antics. They couldve went a lil darker, the rangers were older at the time.

Oddly enough I’m pretty sure the bomb plots were thought up by the fraction of the creative staff that wanted Turbo to be darker
