I just watched Ryuki Episode Final The Movie. Thus concludes Ryuki. It was a good series but like people said, the reset ending sucked and made everything pointless. I think it was worth watching for the story though. It didn't have staff problems like Hibiki, annoying romance subplots like Den-O or ineffective bad guys like Agito. I liked the Double Riders dynamic between Knight and Ryuki. The first half about Knight and his girlfriend and the second half about Ryuki accepting the reality of the Rider War.
The last Heisei Phase 1 series I must watch is Blade. It's only a matter of time. I've heard mixed reviews about it.

I've finally finished Dairanger. Well, this one didn't suck. I've finally watched a good sentai that's Pre-Gingaman. The characters are meh, but it has a cool mythology, a decent plot, some character development, and some surprising moments. The villains are meh, except for Jin and Akomaru. I thought they were the highlights. I didn't love this show, and I do have my problems, but I still think it's a solid show, and I'll take this over obnoxious Kakuranger, development-less and tonal whiplash Ohranger, insufferable Carranger, and boring Megaranger, 4 of the worst sentais I've ever seen. Now that I'm done with Dairanger, I'm gonna do Zyuranger, which I hope to have done by the end of this year, and I'm on episode 41 of W, and when I'm through with that, I'm doing Amazons, then skipping Decade for until I've caught up with all the other KR shows, and going with Kiva. As for my ranking:

Alright, I've finally finished W. I think it's a good show. My major problems with the show is that Begins Night (which, as of now, I haven't seen yet) should have been in the show and not just a side movie, I don't care for the fact that W needs 2 people to use, and I don't think the show ever justifies this, this show is slower paced than I would like, and I find Ryuu generic, but I do like the characters, the villains, and the plot. I also love Accel's forms, the noir aspect, and the opening is now my new favorite KR opening. This show was actually recommended to me by Japanime, and I don't love it as much as he does, but I do like it. In fact, I've yet to see a KR show that is even mediocre, much less don't like. That's a track record if I've ever seen one. KR is on a roll. Now that I'm finished with this, I'm doing Amazons. Instead of alternating in 5-episode chunks like I usually do, I'm gonna finish all of Zyuranger, then do all of Amazons, then do Jetman and Kiva at the same time. As for my ranking:

I just finished Zyuranger. It's interesting finally seeing the sentai that's the basis for MMPR, the PR season that started it all. It's definitely not perfect, but I really like this one. I had a lot of fun with this one. I thought Dairanger was okay, but this is the most I've been invested in any sentai since Gingaman. As for problems, I thought it was too needlessly slowly paced and episodic, but when it did focus on the story, I was invested, and Geki is one of my new favorite reds, Burai is one of my new favorite 6ths, and Witch Bandora is one of my new favorite sentai villains, with Machiko Soga giving one of the best sentai villain performances I've seen, and she is over-the-top perfection. As far as the dino sentais go, it's definitely not better than Kyoryuger, but those characters put this show over Abaranger for me. I've now officially seen every sentai that got adapted into PR, and am now entering Pre-Zyu territory. After I watch Amazons, I'm doing Jetman and Kiva. As for my ranking:

I guess you can look at it like A+, A, B, C, D, and F. I’m also giving sentais in the first 3 sections (in this case, 1-14) what I’m calling the “rewatchability factor”. I’m gonna give every sentai 1 rewatch, but for the rest of my life, anytime I want to rewatch a sentai just for fun and for my leisure, those are the ones I’m gonna go to. I’m gonna be rewatching shows like Shinkenger, Gekiranger, and Dekaranger, for example, over and over for the rest of my life. All of the other ones (15-25), once I give them their 1 mulligan rewatch, I’m never watching them again.

I just finished GoGo Five, it was pretty great.
Fiveman was fully subbed recently (90s complete!) so that's next. Then I can decide which is the best sibling Sentai.

watched goggle v it bored me starting on fiveman again as soon as I can get it downloaded
finished Fiveman hated it, so much potential and toei screwed it up.

Yesterday, I finally finished Amazons. I never really needed a darker, grittier version of a KR show, but I have to say, I thought this show was great. I love Em, I love Sento, I love Gentaro, and I love Eiji, but Jin Takayama may be my new favorite Rider. Man, what a compelling character. I love the themes and the moral gray areas this show deals with, and I like most of the characters. As for flaws, I thought Mizuki was a waste, Chihiro and Iyu, despite having fantastic backstories, their storyline fell a little flat, I thought season 1 was better than season 2, and I thought that the season 2 finale was lame. Also, there are only 26 letters in the alphabet. I felt like the whole story could have been wrapped up in 2 seasons. It boggles my mind that they left it open like that. Still, I love this show, and I'm surprised by how high I'm ranking it. Next, I'm doing Jetman and Kiva, but then I'm gonna take a break from the watchthrough to rewatch some shows I've already seen, doing Go-Onger, Gekiranger, Boukenger, Megaranger, Gingaman, then Magiranger. I might even throw Shinkenger and Abaranger in there, too, but for now, my ranking:

Started up a Marathon of Heisei Riders to build up to Mr. 20-Heisei-Rider when that happens later this year. First 9 seasons I did watch a long time ago during the Decade hype so it'll be interesting re-experiencing these shows now that I'm older. I'm currently in Kuuga & despite the crap video quality I am enjoying the show.

I finished Kyuranger a few days ago. This is one of the most disappointing sentais I've ever seen, and is yet another disappointing post-Kyoryuger sentai. Next up is Lupinranger Vs Patranger, and it looks promising, but we'll see. As for Jetman and Kiva, I'm 5 episodes into each show, but like I did with Zyuranger and Amazons, instead of watching them together, I'm gonna watch through all of Kiva, then do Jetman. With Kiva having 2 timelines, it's hard to keep track of unless I give it all my time. After that, I'm gonna rewatch Go-Onger and RPM, then Gekiranger and Jungle Fury. As for my ranking:

Finished at last Kyuranger. It was a wise desicion to take a break from the series for the last two months and watch the last 5 episodes together. Great finale. One of the best super sentai shows ever. Even if it could be better. Especially for having such big climaxes in the middle of the season and then not continuing in the same vibe, it was a lovable show that I will miss it. Starting at once Thief Sentai Lupinranger VS Police Sentai Patranger and I will catch up as well Build. I hope it has improved too because it started amazing and then got boring.
I made a very big edit in my list, hadn't updated it for a long time

Alright, I finally finished Kiva. It took eons, but I finally trudged through it. As far as I can tell, this show is a fan favorite, but it's yet another KR show I have to disagree with the masses on, and I'm sorry to say, but I don't care for it. This is the first KR show that I've seen that I straight up do not like. I found most of this show just boring. Just (yawns) boring. I'm so bored

sing a silly song and then go run into a door

(Bo-oooo-oooring) To be clear, this show isn't terrible. It's certainly better than all of the sentais and PR seasons that I don't like. I don't dislike any characters, except for maybe Shizuka. This show certainly has flashes of brilliance, but this show takes forever to get to them. Of the 2 storylines, I prefer the past one especially since Yuri and Maya are my favorite characters of the show. As for Otoya, he was a character I didn't care for at all at first, but he really grew, and I ended up surprisingly liking this character by the end. I'm starting to realize just how much I prefer modern KR's faster pacing, because these slower shows from the past just feel needlessly drawn out to me. Plotlines and character arcs just drag on longer than they need to. This show takes forever to explain the setup for the world. There's a very interesting mythos here, but it's just poorly told. I didn't hate it, and it certainly has its moments, but I certainly can't say it's a good show. I'm sorry, but this one has to go straight to the bottom. I'm gonna finish Jetman, then instead of doing Go-Onger and RPM, I'm saving that for later for when the 10 Years Grand Prix comes out, and I'm gonna do Gekiranger and Jungle Fury instead.
