Wait, is that a typo or did you legit say you want another Victor and Monty?

He did say that. I hate Victor because he's so full of himself that it borders on godlike & he feels like he should be worshiped.

I feel like that's an over exaggeration. I just hate them because they take episode time away from the actual important characters. And the fact that they're completely unfunny doesn't help matters. Wait, is that a typo or did you legit say you want another Victor and Monty? My bad. Yeah, that was a typo. I change some things around in the sentence and I guess I forgot to reread. It really doesn't sound like there's any place for another "comedic" duo in the Beast Morphers plot. Even if they could find a way, I still say hell no.

I doubt they'd take up much time, but they would probably be the same as the ones who did read outs and alerts in Go Busters

Power I personally don't mind having a goofy character be it a ranger like chip, or spd green, or as a supporting player like Fran from jf, any of Henderson roles he had and the like. Now I agree I don't want to see a Victor and Monty half ass rip on bulk and skull that doesn't really serve any logic or reason. A comedy character can work in the proper setting it they are a klutz to say silly things and the like.
As for the casting slides. Any one know what was in slides. For these comedy characters.

Oh, yeah. I don't mind a goofy character. Ziggy is my favorite ranger period. But when they're like Victor and Monty, they just kinda drag the show down.

Thanks for the slides just from that casting info doesn't seem to be that bad. They seem more silly then stupid goofy like Victor and monty. But again who knows how actual characters be compared to f or the show characters are. As slides don't rep the true character. Just something for casting folks to see an actors range and all.
But if we do get comedy characters for the season which isn't to bad. Heck was go bus female assistant kinda a little goofy. Again maybe this brother and sister will be filling similar role as some of the supporting go bus organization agents where. Though personally If we really have to have some goofy characters I rather leave it to the buddy riods if they are going to be actual characters. Beyond just for zords or red bike.

Interesting... I think I'm actually looking forward to this one. Hopefully fewer rangers means more work and development going into the ones they do have.
Also, GoBusters had a natural break point midway so if they ignore the part with Enter taking over as main villain they could just adapt the first 30 episodes into a PR season. (Which would be a shame, but when has that stopped them?)
Comedy characters lately just seem to make me cringe. They seem to go for dodgy cartoon-level humour without remembering that it doesn't work the same way with live actors. Humour can be still be a bit classy.

I'm really hope the high school setting is changed with the buyout. Anyway they never used it well. The Ninja Steel's kids being in high school doesn't matter most of the time. And when is used it (a school election, really?) It's awful. And what I really hope is no more Victor and Monty- Type of characters. And what I mean, no more bullies who are cannon fodder for jokes. It's idiotic and unrealistic. Bullying is a serious matter, but treated like as a joke, or take it so lightly is awful. Bulk and Skull worked because: a) Jason Narvy and Paul Schierer's charisma is gigantic, and b) they outgrow their bully-phase, and become better characters for that. I prefer Boom-type of characters, dumb but with a good heart. Even if they treated as jokes, you could identify with them. Like that episode of Boom lying to his parents, about being a Ranger. It's silly, and you know lies are bad (and he endangered himself for that), but you could empathize with him, for trying to make his parents proud. It's touching.

I still doubt hs setting is for actual show. And just for casting slides. As we already know rangers work for the agency and just would be a waste of time doing a hs setting on top of agency setting. Also to be technical bm is still likely majority a saban property as they where still in early work before buy out. I wouldn't expect full hasbro show to series after.

I was a victim of bullying myself. I still get bullied as an adult. Especially at my work.
Though my tenth series has a queen bee-type character who sees herself as a god & believes that people of different cliques should have ZERO interaction with each other whatsoever. Even if it's school related like projects.
Victor is more like an egocentric douchebag who believes everyone should love & worship him and like he's God's gift to humanity. Hence his "How do I become more popular than the Power Rangers?" question and trying to do stuff like ship Preston to his own house so he can play Romeo.

With the news that Hasbro would be starting to release toys in Spring 2019, it looks like (at the moment) the show will start airing around that same time: Source: Licensing Source Book Europe - Page 62 Who knows if this will change, but it would allow for everything to shift over at the same time without the show airing first. We'll know more at Licensing Expo later on this month - while this publication says Europe in the title, this article is in reference to Licensing Expo 2018. This is also (I believe) the first image used to reference Beast Morphers apart from those who were at Hasbro's private event at Toy Fair who saw everything with their own eyes and shared the information.

Hmm, I'm curious how deep into Spring it'll be. Will this compress the hiatus a little bit?
Also,
uh...wtf?

I wouldn't expect to see season airing be any different then last few years. As filming starts around Sept and goes to april/may. Sept to Dec for first 20, Jan to April for 2nd 20. So I don't see why we wouldn't see show start usual feb/March time frame.
