Peter and MJ are divorced in this. F*ck Marvel...ten years ago, you pulled something like OMD because you didn't think kids could handle divorce, and ten years later you change your mind and are willing to put the issue in a kids film.

There were ways you could have had  him hard on his luck without once again throwing the relationship under a bus...we've had a decade of this already from the comics and they're only now starting to repair the damage. I don't want MJ haters to be given more fuel to slate her. "Ah see, she gave up on him, GWENZ FOREVERZ"

Apparently the Peter that dies in the film is also married to MJ and she speaks at his funeral, so I'm hoping she's still portrayed a little better and she gives words of encouragement to the hard luck Pete about maybe winning his wife back.
