Let's say that you have a friend or a relative who is unfamiliar with the Kamen Rider mythos and franchise and would like to get into it by watching a particular movie that feels like it stands alone and it doesn't require the viewer to have watch the TV show in order for them to get familiar with the characters or the Kamen Rider mythos.
Which Kamen Rider movies would you recommend for newcomers to watch?

Ex aid. It was the one that got me into the franchise. Although would recommend Build - awesome suits, characters, villains and that amazing theme song. It never gets old.

Wait, I actually remember those movies. Oh, and...*SPOILERS ALERT!!!* The First has that annoying subplot about those two hospital patients that were dying of an illness and were in a romantic story arc who eventually became the Snake and Cobra Shocker Kaijins that honestly, nobody even cared about or even asked for. Seriously, who cared about those two patients becoming Shocker Kaijins in the movie?! And the sequel, "Kamen Rider THE NEXT" also has that unnecesary subplot about the dead popstar killing people who keep listening to her single, "Platinum Smile" and the music industry tried to cover it up by having the two rival singers who were involved with her accident that led to her commiting suicide, by hirng a plastic surgeon and making them look like the dead popstar. And they all thought that they were pulling a harmless prank on her when that happened. But you wanna what is really dumb about those subplots in the two movies?! They were both written by Toshiki Inoue. Yes, Mr. "I have a Tokusatsu drinking game named after me!" Toshiki Inoue wrote the screenplays of Kamen Riders The First and THE NEXT.

^ Well you can't have an Inoue movie without someone getting pushed down some stairs or in to a lake or on to a park bench. Not that I mind, this is the man who wrote Faiz which was the best KR series of all time and I always appreciate the extra violence and blood.
I mentioned those movies since they're basically a condensation of original KR and V3. After all, who has the time to watch 98 episodes of one show, am I right? I'll probably acquire the licensed V3 set eventually though. I like V3 and Riderman.

Anyways, change of subject. I actually do have some recommendations on standalone Kamen Rider movies....
-Kamen Rider 555: Paradise Lost -Kamen Sentai Gorider -Kamen Rider Hibiki and the Seven Senki -Kamen Rider #1 (2016) -Heisei Generations -Super Hero Taisen Z
But I think that's it, so far.

Kamen Rider ZO or J are my choices. Usually I would recommend a series before a movie since even if most of the Heisei era movies are non-canon they still establish a lot of rules & themes of the individual series so you wouldn't really get a decent grasp on Kamen Rider as a whole (or in the case of series like Den-O or Ex-aid are canonical to the series to understand what's going on story wise) but despite certain elements present in both movies ZO & J are as basic & easy to grab onto as it gets for anyone wanting to jump into the franchise.
