Oh come on that is not the only reason. They still won games had a winning season. Sure for week 17 there was 3 different ways they had to get in the pkayoffs. But they still did.

Since all of our picks were the same for the Saturday games, there was zero movement in the standings. Below are a list of scenarios based on tomorrow's results.
If JAX and MIN win: Mr. Silver is eliminated If JAX and NO win: Qarlf is eliminated If PIT and MIN win: Dead2009 is eliminated If PIT and NO win: Dead2009 is eliminated

And we have our final three! That was easily on of the craziest finishes I've ever seen. I'll update the scores tonight after I finish cursing Marcus Williams for costing me a spot in the final three.

I don't think the Patriots can defeat the Jaguars this weekend.

The standings have been updated. Thanks to the beauty of the playoff format, we have Dead who has gone from worst to first in the span of one day! The Conference Championship games are listed below.
JAX v NE MIN v PHI

That finish in Minnesota was unbelievable. Talk about plays none of us will ever forget - where we were at that moment, who we were with, the reaction, etc.
And the Jaguars going into Pittsburgh and stomping the Steelers - also unbelievable. I want to believe in Jacksonville so badly. They have the defensive formula that wins championships, but there's just one thing - it's Jacksonville. It's hard to buy into a team being in the AFC Championship when said team has had a top 5 draft pick for the last decade.
But they do have one big difference maker this year: Tom Coughlin baby!
Still, I just can't bet against New England. I think they snuck up on the Steelers, but won't be able to sneak up on the Patriots the same way. The Cinderella story ends here.
JAX @ NE MIN @ PHI
Give me a Vikings vs. Jaguars Super Bowl and I'll be content. As a Giants fan, Patriots vs. Eagles would obviously just be a horrible scenario.

Of the four teams that won in the Divisional Playoffs, the Eagles scored the least amount of points with 15. That alone has convinced me that they will lose to the Vikings. Home field advantage and the supposed Super Bowl curse will not help them.

My heart wants to go with Jacksonville because I honestly feel like we're gonna have an upset in the making but....they're IN New England so....

Did that really just happen What is it about Tom Brady that let allows him to do these 4th Quarter comebacks? And at 40 years old and he did it against the #1 or 2 defense in the NFL and without Gronk! I swear it's like as long as there is time on the clock and life in Brady's body the Pats always have a chance.

With New England winning, this officially eliminates Qarlf from the Pick Em' Playoffs. Jacksonville had ONE job to do, but I'm someone else will take care of the ranting for me. With PHI vs MIN, we have the following scenarios:
If MIN wins: O.92 goes into the SB with the lead and a shot at becoming the first 3X champ! If JAX wins: Dead2009 wins the Pick Em' Championship without the need to pick for the SB as his lead would be 7 which is too far ahead to be overtaken. This would also be the first time (if memory serves me correctly) that we would have a winner without the SB picks.
