It does seem a little suspect that Jacksonville had 6 penalties while New England only had one, but you can't tell Patriots fans that because then you're all jealous...until they get beat then the refs were all against them.

Name 1 game of any pats game that there isn't some odd questionable call that screwed the other team over.

It does seem a little suspect that Jacksonville had 6 penalties while New England only had one, but you can't tell Patriots fans that because then you're all jealous...until they get beat then the refs were all against them. Someone on ESPN's First Take just said it's "Pats haters" just not wanting to eat crow about Brady being great athlete of all time. So they are focusing on the ref stuff that "doesnt matter" compared to Brady greatness. Max even said your ignoring my point and the guy said "yes I am". He cant even defend his point and so he just openly dismiss everything as "hater" and it "not mattering". lol

Speaking as someone who does not have a pro team but has watched a lot of games for both the New England Patriots AND the Jacksonville Jaguars. Because Geneo Grissum plays for New England & both DeDe Westbrook and Aaron Colvin play for Jacksonville. But a all season long there were a lot of penalties Jacksonville got away with during the season, and last night a lot of their penalties were justified as dictated by the letter of the law.

I'll never forget the AFCG in which they lost to Denver and all the Pats fans cried and complained about that.

There are questionable calls by the refs in a lot of games not just Patriot ones. Bad calls hurt every team

True but the whole pats have refs in there pocket thing has been going for ages. And when we get bad calls that favor pats it just makes more folks believe the refs favor them.

^Then what about the questionable call that gave the Jags the football. Deion Lewis looked like when his knee hit the ground he had the ball secured against his leg, before Jacksonville supposedly came up with it? So people claiming the Pats have the refs in their pockets always seem to overlook the calls that go against them.

This was the Super Bowl nightmare I feared. What the hell happened to the Vikings, they didn't even show up? For New Yorkers, it's the Giants' rival vs. the Jets' rival. It can't get much worse than this. Unless you're a Steelers fan of course - where you either root for the Patriots to tie your 6 Super Bowl record, or root for your interstate rival. Me? I'll be rooting for the Patriots. Brady's already the GOAT, so let him have a 6th ring, who cares. There's no difference between 5 and 6. But the Eagles? Big difference between 0 and 1. The Eagles MUST stay at 0 Super Bowls. If JAX wins: Dead2009 wins the Pick Em' Championship without the need to pick for the SB as his lead would be 7 which is too far ahead to be overtaken. This would also be the first time (if memory serves me correctly) that we would have a winner without the SB picks. So it looks like the Weekly Picks Competition is over before the Super Bowl...indeed, for the first time ever. Not sure if this is cool, or pathetic on the rest of us. Congrats Dead2009! For formalities purposes, I would've picked the Patriots in 2 weeks.

Personally I hope eagles win myself.

I was proven wrong again, and I couldn't be happier. The Eagles are hungry, and definitely have what it takes to win.

If we were picking the game, I'd go with Philly.
