Well, seeing as though Toei is going to make yet another one of these movies, next spring. And since we now have five movie installments, four net-movies that are either promoting or are "tied-in/connected" to the main "plot" of these movies, and three TV spring crossovers that are meant to promote them....How exactly would you rank all five of these main Super Hero Taisen movies from best to worst, so far?
Share your opnions on each movie installmemt and enjoy.

5) Super Hero War. All action, virtually no plot. Lots of OOC moments. 4) Kamen Rider War. I enjoyed the return of Takumi and Haruto. Unfortunately, the plot was below average and the ToQGers and Kyoryu Red were unnecessary. 3) Super Hero War Grand Prix. The plot was actually pretty solid even if it was done before. Kamen Rider 4, the sequel to Gou's death and Faiz's ending, was pure awesome. Why was it called "Super Hero War" when it was all about KR though? 2) Chou Super Hero War. Refer to my review of the movie on post #6. 1) Super Hero War Z. Uchuu Keiji! Also the reference to Movie War Ultimatum with future Inazuman. Plot was decent and fights were climactic. Only serious bad part was Retsu trying to destroy Earth. Probably why he retired and left it to Geki.
I hated the ToQGer/Gaim and Ninninjer/Drive specials since they reduced the Sentai to 47 episodes (not that I cared about ToQGer but then terrorism lost Ninninjer an episode). The way Toei are doing it now is better with crossovers being integrated with the series' plots instead of delaying them.

I've seen like 2 SHT movies. Technically 3 but one was unsubbed. Plus I forgot the names of the movies lol. 1 - the one with SS V KR 3 - the one with go busters. At #1...are you talking about the very first one with Kamen Rider Fourze and the Go-Busters making guest appearances in it? (Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Super Hero Taisen). That movie really didn't have a plot, because the main focus was on Captain Marvelous and Tsukasa Kadoya/Kamen Rider Decade killing off other riders and sentai teams for seemingly no reason at all but just really bad fan fiction and pointless fan-service. Also, as a tedious fan fiction bromance between Joe Gibken (Gokai Blue) and Daiki Kaitou (Kamen Rider DiEnd) for it's main "subplot". At #3 is that the original Super Hero Taisen movie that I mentioned earlier, or the second one where it gives Youko/Yellow Buster's character a lot more screen time and her interactions with the cast of Space Sheriff Gavan the Movie (2012), Gai Ikari/Gokai Silver and Kousuke Nitou/Kamen Rider Beast (Kamen Rider x Super Sentai x Space Sheriff: Super Hero Taisen Z)? Because if you are talking about Super Hero Taisen Z, then that actually felt more like a direct sequel to Gavan the Movie (2012), and a miniature aftermath to the events of Go-Busters with the characters of Kamen Rider Wizard and Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger making guest appearances.

N/A: Chou Super Hero War. Haven't seen it yet. You ain't missing out on anything from this movie, because if you thought that Chou Super Hero Taisen was going to be better than the last installments, well... "Think again!!!" It's not. It'sjust sad, weak and really disappointing because this was written by Shoji Younemura, the same head-writer of Kamen Rider Kabuto, Let's Go Kamen Riders, the other four Super Hero Taisen movies and he also wrote the anime shows, Berserker and Smile Precure. That's really saying something about his career and reputation as a writer for anime and Tokusatsu.

^ I finally watched it.
Thanks, Excite!
For the first time since SHWZ, CSHW focuses on both Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. That ranks it above KRW and SHWGP and obviously SHW which sucked in the lamest way possible. I'd have to rewatch SHWZ to determine my favorite of these movies which I plan to do after finishing my rewatch of Wizard.
As with its predecessors, CSHW has flaws. Naga mentions the fact that Kyuranger aren't from the present world. This is supported by the Jark Matter robot appearing out of a wormhole, foreshadowing the Space Squad crossover episode. Yet Kyuranger detected the invasion in South Korea and weren't shown traveling through time and space to arrive there.
Hiiro, you've never seen a Zyuman before? What kind of rock has this guy been living under for the month that humans and Zyumen shared the planet?
Not sure if it was intentional but Momotaros calling himself pink contradicts SHW where he called himself red proudly. Probably intentional since it increases his odds of getting chosen for GoRider. Honestly SHW is just one big wreck of a plot, better to disregard it.
Now for the good parts. Lots of references like Yakumo's magic teacher sharing an actor with Jin and the Neo Deboss general from Kyoryuger Brave. Nice to see the Rider Amazons making their first appearance outside their series. All the fight scenes were pretty cool and the comedy was good. I'm glad the story was decent once more and not a fake superhero vs superhero battle like SHW and KRW. Here the internal conflict is to establish GoRider and I'm okay with that. Taddle Legacy was introduced with True Brave to fight Brave Fantasy Gamer. Level 50 white mage vs Level 50 black mage. I appreciated returning characters like Amu and how Game World was used to explain dead guys like Jin and Kitaoka.
Overall, an amazing movie that I would gladly rewatch in the future. If this is really the last of these movies then it was climactic!

It is the final Super Hero Taisen movie, Sh Ranger. They've announced it as official news on the Tokusatsu Network and JE Fusion. It cost Toei a lot of money that was lost in making these god-awful spring movies. It even ranked at #5 on the Japanese Box Office of this year.
It was so bad that the president of Toei had officially pulled the plug on any future production of the Super Hero Taisen movie series. Now they are going to be replaced with movies based off of the AMAZONS seasons, starting next year.

That is not the reason, you have no concrete prove of that claim.

Did you even check the news on JE Fusion or the Tokusatsu Network, sixthrangerfan? Because that is where I got most of the information from.

yes I do, and nowhere does it say that the ones who issued the statement are stopping due to poor box office. i.e. no proof thats the reason

I updated my ranking after rewatching SHWZ, it's still the best.
