I cant see this rumor being true: www.cbr.com/report-sony-morbius-mcu-spider-man-references/more so since marvel studios has no control on this film production vs the mcu/sony spider-man films. I just cant see marvel being ok with reference to there verse in a movie they have no creative say/control in. |

Alright that looks pretty damn good. Morbius was one of my favorite villains in the 90s Spider-Man cartoon so I'm always happy to see a favorite. I think Leto can actually nail this compared to his time as Joker. Possibly connected to the MCU? Between the Spider-Man poster with "Murderer" and Michael Keaton, who knows. Can't wait to see this. Did I spy Matt Smith toward the end as well?

Yes I Def like they are staying more true to comics here. Then the mess they did with venom film. But God Sony still making a mess of things. As to where and what this film is. As first we all know marvel studios and Kevin feige had no association or say in this film. And I seriously doubt mcu wants to "water down" the mcu brand with Sony side films that may or may not do good critically or by the fans. Unlike how marvel studios films are.
Then the other mess of things is that spiderman poster is clearly not mcu Tom Holland spiderman or suit. It's the Sam raimi costume and a stock image from the ps4 game. So what is this film Sony spiderman less universe, a tie back to raimi universe. Then is Keaton vulture from mcu or is he someone else. And what not. Cause for me I really don't want to see Sony universe earth get retcon into mcu. As I don't want that take of venom for mcu. And I and I sure marvel folks don't want there brand marked by the Sony brand.
Fang yes Matt Smith is in this film. He is playing one if the villains of the film. A marvel character luxcius crown/hunger (another vampire character).

Looks like this guy made it all up. Also really folks should know its bs. As the daily bugle isnt a newspaper in mcu. But a media website thing. Though the bugle logo seen on buses using logo from raimi movies also dont make any sense either.
