8now some think oh no film is doom. But you do have to remember Howard came on mid way during itinal filming for the film. And all big films like this always schedule reshhots a few months out before release. So this is likely the original dates picked for reshhots before the whole director switch.

Just saw film short while ago. I thought it was a enjoyable film. A solid story and characters. Wmit was fun seeing Han earlier in his life and the misadventures he had. And how he met chewie and lando. And was fun seeing how he did get the falcon too. Overall it was solid action scenes and as usual visuals looked great. Characters had good humor and drama and I thought every one did well. Glover totally had lando down pat. Young Han I thought did solid too. All the minor and supporting players did there parts and overall good film.

I saw this movie today. I can safely say...
I like the side story movies a lot better than the Disney Trilogy. They're more grounded because they're still in the Lucas timeline, and they seem to be friendlier to the old lore because of that. They feel more like Star Wars, really. I kind of wish Lando had more to do, though.
