I partook in a photo shoot last month and at one point, we did Wakanda where those cosplaying as Black Panther characters were photographed. Including a friend of mine as Klaw in safari attire with the sonic arm cannon he's known for.

Just got home from my iMax screening of the film. Really enjoyed this one. It had good character development. Story flowed well with good present day and flashbacks to the past. Acting all around from the leads and supporting players did well. Marcel has another hit on there hands. And it Def lives up to the hype. Also Stan Lee cameo was really nice and the credit scenes lead to some interesting developments to come.

a good film for sure, but definitely a smidge overrated. (Audiences have it at 75 on RT, rightfully so imo). The cast were all great, LOVED the Wakandan culture real strong character work for everybody (they made Man-Ape cool!) but I didn't think the plot was that creative or inspired. In fact I thought it ripped off Lion King, tbh.

Ryan Coogler's production company has inked a five year deal with Disney. In addition to Black Panther 2, Coogler will develop the latest Disney+ Marvel series, which will be centred on Wakanda.
