Well there's no way they can do the show without her. So this will be the end then.
(nobody suggest Einstein or Reyes replace her because no)

They could continue in some way. But would suck to not have her.

I was under the impression the series at this point was just a vanity nostalgia act that was on borrowed time anyway. If one of them is getting bored, surely the others could too...unless they really need the money.

The episode was okay up until that ending. How f***ing disgusting. I can't blame Gillian for wanting to quit after that.
It was also a pretty lazy way to address the ending of last season. It was a dream? What is this, Dallas?
It's also pretty terrible how Monica is still evil. Someone needs to take this show away from Chris Carter ASAP.
But Duchovny and Anderson are still both fantastic. And I like that Skinner is actually being given things to do. He was so wasted last season.
I'm curious to finally see William though, along with whatever his abilities are. If it all goes well I can imagine them making a spin-off for him to replace the main show.

I doubt it's was just a dream. But a future warning. As for csm, reveal can it be real or just another in his long line of bs he has said over the years. As for Gillian I doubt this story reveal was reason she is ovee. As it was likely made Clear to producers she wanted this to be end before filming probably started.

Now that was more like it.
This episode had all the hallmarks of the classic series. A thrilling plot, some surprisingly awesome action scenes, the banter between the two of them, the typical vanishing of all evidence. And Langly!
There were some great callbacks in this one, and while the Gunmen's deaths were really stupid I like how clearly they tied back to that episode.
So was the doctor lady Langly's girlfriend? And then when he had his little shut it down speech after that was both sad and terrifying. And the ending was equally freaky.
So...does Scully live in Mulder's house now? The preview for next week suggests they might be getting romantic again? And finally, they're working an X File! And the Home lady!

Ya this was a good episode last night. I agree felt like a classic series episode. And boy I was presently surprised to see Langley character back in some form. I hated how the gunmen went out. The twist and turns was interesting too.
