Just watched episode four of Russel T. Davies new AIDS awareness drama "It's A Sin", which features cameos from the Daleks, as one of the characters is an actor and gets to appear in Doctor Who
It comes and goes relatively quickly, nothing big, just Ollie's character Richard making reference to the crystal and the world being in danger if they let the Daleks pass, then there's an explosion and the Daleks move in, Barnaby Edwards and Nicolas Pegg are the operators, they speak but the voice isn't credited, it didn't sound like Briggs.
There's some 'behind the scenes' scenes that come right after where the crewmember in charge of lighting notices something's wrong with Richard's skin (because he has HIV) and then we move on to something else.

I would like to see her stay. But if she leaves it is right on part with most of the modern doctors.

Rumours are there's to be an announcement on International Women's Day (March 8th), word on twitter is that it'll be to announce a female showrunner, who I believe will probably be Maxine Alderton (she wrote the Mary Shell episode in series 12)

The big announcement today was the return of BBC III as a tv station sometime in 2022. BBC III of course was pivotal to UK Who fans back in the infancy of Nu Who. For six years it was home to the behind-the-scenes showcase Doctor Who Confidential, and screened the first two uncut seasons of Torchwood. If you missed Doctor Who on the Saturday, you could be assured that BBC III would provide you with a repeat soon after. So any hopes for further Who content on the channel when it comes back? Another spin-off like Class?
