The NYD special wasn't too bad, I had issues with Chibnall's writing as per usual, but it held together fairly well.
Loved the visual of all the Daleks swarming all over the city, later pouring into the second TARDIS, and the call backs to The Void, Rose Tyler and Gwen Cooper.
Jack got to hug The Doctor, too.
Robertson was able to bluff his way into being a Dalek ally, then bluffed his way into an honorary knighthood. Dude is slick.
Poor Graham, he didn't do much in this episode, but even at the end, he still wanted to travel with The Doctor, Ryan choosing to stay behind him convinced him to stay. At least he and The Doctor finally hugged one another, and the pair of them now have their own psychic paper

Good holiday special tonight. Was nice to have something new from who after the long wait. Also was great to see jack again and him working with the doc and the fam. The nods to his past and rose was cool too. It was also cool seeing these new daleks. Then old ones taking out these new ones. In the prison was cool seeing some past who foe species too. And a nice closer for graham and Ryan with them leaving. Overall a solid episode. And can't wait to the next season. Hopefully it will air by the summer.

Missed opportunity to have a new Dalek Emperor to be a reference to the lost episode Evil of the Daleks.

Yeah, remember the whole 'chaos in cardiff' thing from 2019? The difference with that one is the BBC were very quick to say it didn't happen, where as here they won't committ to a confirmation or denial, meaning it's very possible Jodie is leaving for real this time!

could be and would be right on par with the modern who actors leaving after 3-4 years/specials. If she does leave do you think the next doctor would stay female, or go back to male, let alone be it male or female what about an ethnic actor in the role?

Whoever takes over can't even be credited with being the first POC to be The Doctor thanks to Ruth's inclusion last year, so it's already lost a unique edge to draw in the diverse crowd. If they choose a man, it might be interpreted as them 'walking back' on what was largely considered a misfire.

Hey I am up for anything myself. I myself don't feel if they went back to a male it make it seem jodi/Ruth doctors where bad. Hell I still didn't expect a female regeneration when jodi happened. I totally expected a ethnic actor first before a female regen.
