My opinion on Power Rangers 25th Anniversary News

I am not sure about the Ninja Storm part on your opinion. But yeah, it would definitely be a lot more interesting to see the Wind Rangers coming back since it's been like 14 years since we've heard from any of the cast members of Ninja Storm. Grant McFarland (Sensei Kanoi Watanabe & Lothor) came back to the franchise in the episode, "The Tengen Gate" from Power Rangers Samurai as Daisuke. But after that...we've never heard from any of the other cast members of Ninja Storm being interested in returning to the franchise.

But the Alien Rangers.....yeah, they're not gonna come back because they weren't even in the majority of season three of MMPR. They had ten episodes and that's it. And the only individual characters that you got to know more of from the Alien Rangers in a later season were Delphine (White Alien Ranger) and Cestro (Blue Alien Ranger). But the other three?! *PFFT!* Who cares about those three?! So yeah, I think it's best to leave out the Alien Rangers, and only work with what we have for the 25th anniversary season of Power Rangers.

Yeah a little man but I also am trying to start conversations and build a fanbase. My ultmate goal is to go fans to unite and debate.

Well atleast they brought Aurico back for the 10th anniversary wouldn't that count?

Well, not exactly. It's just that originally, Steve Cardenas (Rocky DeSantos) was supposed to come back, if Austin St. John wasn't going to come back. But, if they wanted to bring in the red Kakuranger suit into "Forever Red", here's a thought....why not just have it be Rocky's character in the suit, instead of Aurico?! Because in universe, Aurico is not even the actual team leader of the Alien Rangers. That's Delphine's job. Aurico is just the team's muscles and nothing more. Rocky, on the other hand, has been acting more like an actual second-in-command character from seasons two and three of MMPR. And that would fit a lot more for the veteran roster of "Forever Red", in my opinion. But at the end of the day, the Alien Rangers as individual characters...they are just superficial, superfluous and you probably aren't going to remember a lot about them or even care about them since they were only given 10 episodes of screen-time in a mini-series and not 40 episodes of any flushed-out backstories of their home planet, their people, or any actual character-development among the five rangers of Aquitar. I appreciated what Forever Red did for including Aurico's character in the team-up episode, but unfortunately....I am not going to care about his character, individually, because, I am going to keep thinking of him as just another guy in an empty suit. Not even the team-up episode, "Rangers of Two World", was enough to make me even care about Aurico or the other Alien Rangers, black and yellow. Like I said, before, I only know more about Delphine and Cestro since they were given a lot more to do in the Alien Rangers mini-series and in a few episodes of Zeo. But never the other three, so why should I or anyone who is like me should care them appearing in later team-ups, huh?!

They didn't use the Dairanger suits so obviously not the case.



If I remember correctly, the whole existence of the alien ranger arc with the Rangers being turned into kids was to give the main cast a break. Using the Kakuranger suits also meant they could also fall back on using more Japanese footage to save money.

They used the Kibaranger suit to match the White Tigerzord footage. As it would have made no sense for a Green Power Ranger to command a White zord.(and before you point out the Lion Thunderzord belonged to a green ranger there was enough black on it to pass it off a zord for a black ranger)  There's zero evidence that was there some sort of contractual obligation to do so.

If there was some sort of contract stipulation one would assume they would have to had use all the dairanger suits.

And using the Kakuranger mecha footage would have been fulfilling the terms of the supposed contract of using each series footage. e.

Using the Kakuranger suits was a simple exercise in saving money.


Mind you as far as I am aware there's no actual evidence of any such contract stipulation that they couldn't skip seasons the fact that they're skipping seasons now.

The only evidence we have to go on is the writers wanted to skip Goseiger but got marching orders to combine Goseiger and Gokaiger. Which could have been as simple as Bandai wanted to sell the Goseiger toys .

Frankly the idea that Toei ever had some rule against skipping seasons when they get their money either way and they were absolutely fine with making brand new footage for Saban in lieu of directly going straight for Dairanger.
