Power Rangers. A consistent force of good across time, space, and dimensions. Defending multitudes for decades, it wasn’t unheard of for different Ranger teams to have schools or academies, such as the Wind Ninja Academy, the Pai Zhuq, SPD, or Time Force. Over time, with threats constantly bringing Ranger teams together, it was decided by several former Rangers that it was time to open an Academy of their own, one set to train the next generations of Power Rangers.
Five years after opening the school with the help of Wes Collins, Dr. Billy Cranston, RJ, Delphine, and Kendrix Morgan, trouble would strike the school. While researching an artifact, five students would decide the school was taking too long to give them Ranger Powers, despite doing everything their teachers wanted, and they decided to steal powers for themselves. Unfortunately, in trying to do so, the five students were mutated and turned into monsters, causing havoc as they took off out of the school, regrouping in a near-by town.
Now, with a new threat on the horizon, the founders of the Ranger Academy have to up their timetable, giving six students the ability to defend the city and the world from former friends…no matter the cost.

(OOC: Welcome to the game! For now, react to being called out over the intercom and we'll get to the fun soon!)
Three Years Ago:
Santo Ileso, a seemingly uninteresting town sandwiched in the New Mexico desert, housed a fascinating academy. The Oliver Ranger Academy, hope to hundreds of men and women of all ages yearning to be chosen as the new Power Rangers after Lord Zedd’s defeat by the Cosmic Fury Rangers years ago. Unfortunately, tonight was going to bring a new direction to the sleepy desert oasis, one that would rock the Academy to its core.
“C’mon!” the leader of a group of five teens said, jogging down the hallway after hours. Four others followed in behind, two more men and two women. The leader pushed the door to a research lab open, seeing an artifact laying on the table in the center of the room. “There it is.”
“Finally. Now we can crack it open and tell the world all the secrets that it has!” one woan said, giggling as she stretched. “Let’s bust it open!”
“Keep your bra on,” the leader said. “I’ll open it in a second.” He took his phone out, taking a picture of himself and his friends. “Woohoo! Once we open this thing, the Professors will have to give us Ranger Powers since we’ll have proven ourselves!”
“Hell yeah!” the other woman said with a grin. “Open it!”
The leader nodded and grinned, picking up a crowbar and using it to pop the lid open the artifact’s container. As he did, black smoke poured out from the container, filling the room. It slowly rose up the five teens’ bodies, choking them and dragging them to the floor. Once down, all five started to yell, their bodies changing as the smoke started to recede.
Where five overly ambitious teenagers stood, now stood five mutated monsters, each reflecting the darkness inside of them. The leader got to his feet, shaking his head out and sighing. “That didn’t work!”
“Yeah, it actually did,” one of the other men laughed, looking at his reflection in the mirror. “This is incredible. Who needs Ranger Powers when we got this!?”
Running down the hall, Dr. Billy Cranston slid to a stop, looking at the five and the butchered box and container. “You didn’t,” he said softly. “Tell me you didn’t open the Eridum Container…”
“We did, Doc! And we feel great!” the first woman laughed. She kicked Billy as his hand reached for his morpher at his belt.
“It’s Morphin’ Time!”
“Not today!” The Leader lashed out, hitting Billy in the head and knocking him out before he could finish morphing. “Let’s go!” He kicked open the wall, taking off into the fields outside of the school.
“This gonna be epic,” the other woman said.
A party would find Billy later, scraps of clothing and a busted wall allowing them some leeway in narrowing things down…

Sadly, finding the five missing students was clearly not going to be easy. Eventually the school had to put notices regarding the “deaths” of the five. Over the next three years, Billy would work with some of Ragner History’s most advanced minds to start crafting Ranger Technology that would help when the bad guys inevitably showed up.
Now, the first new Rangers in years were about to be given their powers. Standing in the lab with Kendrix Morgan, the former Pink Lost Galaxy Ranger, Billy looked at the six Morphers being given out.
“And we’re sure that two Pink Rangers won’t affect the Grid?” Billy asked.
"With the Zoni Program we installed in the Grid, Alpha Oversight watching any fluctuations and compensating, and the fact that we’re actually attempting this? I think we’ll be fine,” Kendrix said. “Besides, with Project Graduation about halfway complete, this’ll have to work until we finish that. We’ll have to just keep eyes on the Grid and hope that Oversight doesn’t fail us.”
Billy nodded, knowing that Kendrix was right. “Alright. Let’s take these and we’ll call our candidates,” he said. “Everyone’s finalized?”
“Sure are,” RJ said, folding his arms. “Kendrix and I handpicked everyone. The only thing we haven’t finished revamping was Gold, so he’s gonna have to sit out the festivities for now.”
“That’s fine. Extra Rangers don’t show up until about halfway through the fight anymore,” Billy said. He walked over to the desk, tapping the Academy wide communications button.
“Attention Oliver Academy Students. As you all know, we aren’t just teaching you the basics on how to have a life after high school or college, but we’ve been training you with weapons, martial arts, diplomacy, and dozens of other useful skills. There’s one thing we’ve been keeping close to the chest, but now it’s time for you all to know the truth. Outside of the unconventional training, this has all been to help select the next generation of Power Rangers. Myself and several other professors are or were Rangers over the last thirty-odd years, and we’ve been working to find the men and women that embody the traits that our mentors saw in us when we were chosen, recruited, or drafted.
“I need the six following students to the Administrative Wing immediately: Wayne Kent, Tatum Wilkins, Felix Vallerte, Hunter Braddock, Celina Jamison-Hendrikson, and Julia Morrison. The six of you need to come to Administrative immediately. Thank you.”
He shut the intercom off, and he looked at Kendrix and RJ. “Well…here goes.”
Billy’s announcement was heard across the school, and Wayne Kent looked up to hear his own name come across the intercom. “I’ve been selected? Why?” he asked, grabbing his bag and taking off, hoping for some answers.
