Power Rangers: Nitro Blaze (Game)

Kestra sighed as she stood in the kitchen, mixing up some fried rice in a skillet. She moved the pan around, the spoon in her hand moving against the pan while her mind went a few different places. She knew that with SPD watching them, her chance at escaping permanently now wasn't going to be easy. And with taking Wayne....the Yellow Ranger had a bad feeling in her gut.

In the time since the Dark Quickening, Joey was intent on fully realizing Zephyr's powers and instead of your vanilla training, he sought to do it the only way that felt right to him and that was high level combat.

Deep in the woods of Japan, an old lady with her blue friend was sitting inside of her home, the former enjoying tea and the latter taking a nap. Feeling a dark presence, she opened her eyes and set her cup down.

"You sense it too?" Genkai asked her blue friend to which Pu responded with a nod, getting up, ready to protect Genkai.

At that point, Joey materialized, flanked by a battalion of Raizers. "Genkai..."

"So the rumors are true." Genkai stood up. "You're the punk kid that got one over on Drago and now you're trying to feel the void. If you're looking for something here to help you, you've come to the wrong place."

"Oh Genkai..." Joey chuckled. "He said you were a cranky old bitch, but now I can see it for myself." He flashed a sinister smirk. "I'm just here for some training. Where are your little Ranger boys?"

"Clearly Drago didn't educate you completely. I'm more than a cranky old bitch. I'm a loyal old hag." She looked at Pu who quickly knew what to do and flew off.

"Well, since you won't call your boys, I'll have to find different ways to get my training in." Joey began to stretch, setting his sights on the old master, intent on drawing the remaining Spirit Hunter Rangers in for battle.

Paul grabbed a water out of the fridge after getting himself together for the day. In his old line of work, he was used to the constant eyes. At least time he wasn't behind bars or had to finesse a guard for an extra bag of chips. Things were relatively calm, at least to him around the house and he wanted to use this time for a valuable mental health check. The former special agent walked to Lenny's room, knocking on the door.

"Hey yo, open up, Len. I know you're in there!"

"Not in the mood right now," Lenny said in a low tone.

"You've been saying that for the last week." Paul didn't leave from Lenny's door, throwing a few more knocks. "You can't stay in there forever!"

Lenny sighed in annoyance and he walked to the door, "Yo, are you trying to break down my door or fuck up your hand?" he asked, his Brooklyn accent coming back.

"If I have to." Paul smiled, not taking no for an answer.

Lenny kept himself calm, "Look, man. I'm trying to get my mind off what had happened with me, SPD, and Jaguar, alright? The last thing I want is to lash out at y'all," he said shaking his head. "It's best if you leave me alone right now until my head is on straight. In fact, why don't you check on Kestra? She's been quiet too."

"I'll circle around to Kestra later. For now, my focus is on you, man. You say you're trying to get your mind off of Jag and SPD, yet you're locked in your room... thinking about Jag and SPD. Kinda doesn't make sense." Paul said. "Maybe coming out of your room a little more often and doing ANYTHING else other than brooding will help ease your mind about things."

"You're NEVER in your best mood, so please don't try to BS me." Paul raised an eyebrow, knowing Lenny was trying to feed a little nonsense, but he was used to it. "Honestly, I'm not trying to start a fight, but what are you doing to actually get past this? I'm only here because we're all worried about you." He asked, showing concern although he looked relaxed.

"I will if you make me a deal. If you start coming out of that room every day for more than just food, bathroom breaks, and DRAGO attacks. No funny business and no loopholes. You do that and I'll leave you alone." Paul made it clear that the ONLY way he'd back off is if Lenny agreed and made an actual effort.
