Power Rangers: Nitro Blaze (Game)

Wayne clutched his ribs again, this time they were forsure bruised as he looks around at the others despite their previous battle with each other it was forsure that they were facing the real common enemy.

"That went well..." Paul groaned, holding his back where he landed.

"Definitely not how I expected my grand return to go." Joey said. "Maybe we can put a halt on the whole arrest thing and try to live first?"

"We're not against that idea." Paul said, speaking for his team. The two Red Rangers got to their feet, preparing to rally their respective troops when they heard Ken speak up.

"No..." Joey muttered under his breath. "Not now...."

Ken Hit the ground hard as he she was forcibly demorphed "look if you're going to kill us can you get it over with?"

"Oh? You want me to be quick about ending your pitiful life??" Zephyr spoke, intending on taking his time. "The one person who was brought on because of his incompetence wants me to rush? The same way you rushed for that dead bitch you simped over? What was her name? Oh, ThotTeeanna or something. Doesn't matter." Zephyr shrugged. "No, maybe that was too harsh." He began pacing while talking trash to the self-proclaimed king. "She at least had the decency to die quickly without giving Valentine any lip." Zephyr began to sigh, his mood instantly changing. "You know, the more I look at you, the more I'm disgusted. If I had my plan foiled by someone as incompetent as you, I'd off myself too. But since that won't be happening today, I can at least start by getting some revenge for my loyal swordsman."

Zephyr began walking towards the Blue SPD Ranger. Every step he took was like a clock ticking down. Each passing second was a second closer to the end of Ken's life and he wanted to savor it.

"Joey?!"

"Paul!?"

Kestra and Flynn were both worried, the Yellow Ranger for her and her friends lives and the Green Ranger for Ken. Flynn tried to get to his feet, aimiing to get to Ken and defend his friend, but he had a bad feeling in his gut.

Finally getting to her feet, Kestra winced as she started helping Corrie up. "Get up, Firebug. We need to do soemthing," she said. "Wayne, get up! Lenny, do soemthing!"

"Lenny, enough!" Paul shouted. "Let's gear up and go to work!"

"Agreed. Guys, let's get to it!" Joey yelled.

Zephyr stopped once he was in touching distance of Ken. A sword materialized in his hand as he looked into the eyes of Ken, man to man and then, he smiled.

"Goodbye...King of nothing." Zephyr used the sword to stab Ken, piercing his chest and running the blade right through his heart. "Justice has been served." Zephyr stepped back so that Ken's blood would not get all over his suit, leaving the self proclaimed king to bleed to death.

"Ken!" Joey stopped mid morph when he saw his friend get killed right in front of him.

Amy's eyes widened when she saw Ken get murdered in a brutal fashion. Sure, he wasn't her favorite person in the world, but he was still a teammate and a friend.

Brooklyn and Paul were silent for two entirely different reasons. For Brooklyn, this was a comrade, a friend, and someone he personally trained. Even with his military experience, losing someone in the field never gets any easier. For Paul, while he knew Ken, he didn't have the same relationship with him that SPD did, but still had a decent amount of respect for him.

Give Ken credit, he was the same in death as he was in life, fighting to the bitter end with little strategy and reckless abandon. Unlike Zephyr's strike, Ken's stab did not hit any vital organs and since immortals were fast healers, there were no lasting effects other than a minor annoyance. While the exploding morpher may have been enough to kill some foes, all it managed to do is get some dirt on Zephyr's suit.

"Great, now I'll have to get this one dry cleaned." He said, dusting himself off.

"Ken!" Flynn felt his heart stop and his blood run cold as the Blue Ranger was killed by Drago. He sank to a knee, his hands shaking. "MOTHERFUCKER!" he screamed. He watched another friend die, and he was helpless to stop this one just like Teeanna.

Kestra's heart sank, and her hands started shaking. "Paul....Paul....we can't win this....we need to fucking run. We all need to fucking run...!"

"Do you get it now?" Zephyr shook his sword, getting off the excess blood. "You all are out of your depth. You lost the second you stood against Lord Drago! And now, you all must pay for your stupidity." Zephyr's sword began to glow a dark red, crackling with sinister energy. Before he could strike, he powered the sword down. "You know what, I have a better idea. Seeing as I lost one of my lieutenants, I had to replace him. I'll let them flex their muscle a bit." Zephyr snapped his fingers and no one appeared. It was what happened next that would rock everyone.

"Nobody's comi...wait!? You can't be serious!" Paul exclaimed.

Joey stepped forward, walking away from his fellow Rangers with a smirk on his face. He walked up to Zephyr and instead of attacking him, he shook his hand, then hugged him.
