A5 sat on Wayne's shoulder as Wayne was all smiles at his latest creation as Wayne Continued to answer questions. "Guys you aren't seeing the big picture, we'll be able to clear more missions and factories or warehouses or enemies with Adapt0r. Wayne beamed excited for his bot to prove itself. "Then I can dedicate time to helping the team the right way!"
"But wouldn't that take away... I dunno... what this team is all about?" Lenny asked, folding his arms, sounding blunt. "Sorry, but the only AI I fuck with is Alexa and this here ain't gonna do us any good."

"Lenny's right. There are a million ways this can go wrong. Plus, there's travel and maintenance. We don't have the resources to keep that thing up to date and Methos doesn't strike me as a technical wizard." Paul said, agreeing with Lenny regarding their reservations about the Adapt0r.

Wayne could have been sitting back at the prison instead he was on a suicide mission unlike any other. A5 patted his shoulder digitally. "Wayne Sweetie, your friends are just looking out for you..." as Wayne huffed again at her.

Wayne shook his head. "No.... no you'll see. Watch." Wayne frowned.
"Wayne Sweetie... the idea is there but maybe we should tweak it some more and revisit-" A5 started
"Enough! You're not my mother. You're just a program, this will work I'll show all of you." Wayne stormed off towards his room leaving A5 behind as the program looked back at the others. Yes she was a program but she was complex. A single digital tear fell down her cheek after Wayne's harsh words

Corrie watched as Wayne walked off and sighed shaking her head. "A5, should we go after him?" She asked, seeing what was needed in the situation.

A5 floated still registering what was happening as Adapt0r followed his master to his room. ,"He needs a moment... Wayne gets overwhelmed easily as you all know... but Wayne... well Wayne is on the spectrum... inventions... gadgets... hell even cars anything that has a simple explainable function he is comfortable with... people not so much. So when people are involved he doesn't know how to deal. He's never been in a situation where multiple people are turning down his ideas. Wayne had one person who actually understood him... his grandmother." A5 revealed more about Wayne that he didn't talk about.
"My appearance is based on her... she always was able to soothe him... particularly with Mary Had a little Lamb..." Telling why she was always singing it to him when he freaked out. "I'm a program I know... but I care about him I do, maybe it's coding that's telling me to say that... but I do..."
A5 looked at the rangers "I'm going to trust in his decision but I agree with you all this could turn bad just... just make sure to keep an eye out for him."

"And why do you think he prefers tech Lenny? Because people like you call him an idiot." The AI said with venom, after revealing Wayne was on the spectrum. "He's different yes, but he also was concerned about you when you decided to be a lone wolf. He cares about all of you, he just isn't able to show it or even express it, so he makes gadgets for you all or trinkets or things he knows you may need. And even if you don't its with you in mind." She revealed.

"So maybe idiot was a bit strong, but real talk. I get he's on the spectrum and he's probably had to go through a lot, but he needs to learn to evolve." Paul said to A5. "I know nobody wants to hear this name, but he could take a page out of Amy's playbook. She's able to be the brains of the operation and still be an active participant in the field. I say that not only because that's what we need, but because I know the kid has it in him. If we just let him stay in his shell forever, we're the ones doing him a disservice."

"I'm not disagreeing with you Paul... I'm just saying if more people can have a bit more grace and patience. You all are used to a bit of this life, it takes him even more to do such evolving. He has it in him and hopefully he's able to show his shine sooner than later..." A5 sighed knowing Paul was right but Wayne just needed the right opportunity.

"Yeah, patience is key." Corrie said stepping up after hearing everything. She didn't know why still Wayne had such a soft spot in her heart, but he did. "It isn't easy for everyone to evolve, especially those with disabilities." She said with a slight dry tone, her annoyance growing. "We can give him the time to do so. Like it or not. AND we are all going to back off of him a little too." She finished with a fold of her arms and a nod. "He's on this team. If we can move forward with Lenny after all of that, we can do this for Wayne as well."
