Power Rangers: Nitro Blaze (Game)

Wayne put his blaster away relieved at Corrie's approach as he followed behind her as he looked around for more gaurds. He saw another and grabbed a box hesitant as he threw it towards the opposite direction causing the gaurd to look in that direction as he whispered. "Now Corrie!" He said providing her am opening to take out another gaurd.

Paul heard all of the complaints about killing from Corrie and Wayne. Although, he didn't have the urge to spill blood today, his time in the military allowed him to understand the concept of doing what's necessary. In addition, he was having a bit too much fun with his new powers.

Given that the Rangers weren't necessarily focused on the civilians, there was no real organization when it came to ensuring their escape.

"Could y'all not look so excited!? We've still got people inside." Amy's voice came in through their coms.

"They'll be fine." Paul executed a single leg take town with ease. He saw several guards shoot at him to which he ran at the nearest wall and used it to perform a cartwheel high over the top of the guards to get behind them. Once he did, he quickly drew his Nitro Blaster, taking out all of them in a few shots.

"This feels amazing! Now I get how your team felt." Paul responded to Amy. Unfortunately for him and the others, the infatuation phase would soon end as there was something on the lower level that is set to not only change this mission but how they progress moving forward.

"Hey, there ain't anything wrong with having a little fun," Kestra said, firing and shooting down two more guards. "Pauly, I'm heading for the civs. Clear me a path and I'll get them outta here and then we can finish up the job."

Wayne responded in the comms "We've cleared a path to the basement access! Advancing now, I believe our designated area is complete."

Wayne said sticking beside Corrie as he advanced with her towards the door.

Little did they know, this day was about to go from bad to holy shit. When Corrie and Turner arrive to the basement, they would find several creatures in pods, either being modified or ready for release while other creatures were casually walking around the lower levels of the compound.

"Good. You find anything good down there!?" Paul rammed the head of a guard into a wall and flung him down the stairs. He saw more guards at the top of the compound, all with their guns trained on the Red Ranger on the stairs. In that moment, he remembered some of the added abilities afforded to Rangers and with one single leap, he jumped several levels, all while bullets bounced off of his suit. When he landed at the top, he began to put his special forces move set on display, making quick work of the guards and flinging them from the top floor, all while waiting on an answer from the Pink and Green Rangers.

"Now I really get how Joe felt." Paul said, referencing Amy's boyfriend and fellow Ranger.

"Mutants? The only guy on the planet I know of that makes mutants is dead." Paul said. Since these suits don't allow for live feed uploads from Ranger to Ranger, the Rangers would have to all see for themselves. When he hears that assistance may be required, Paul felt this would be an ideal opportunity to clear out the rest of the compound and see for himself what Wayne was talking about. "We're on our way." Paul jumped from the top level of the compound, landing on the ground below. He began walking towards the basement, unaware of just how much life was about to change for them all.
