Duncan processed what Leon was saying and now it made perfect sense. It also made perfect sense as to why he didn't recognize this suit. Hearing the short version of what Leon did made him shake his head. "I guess being thick headed does run in the family."
Duncan saw Leon lock in that choke, but with Tonioso's size coupled with the Green Ranger's lack of technique when it comes to wrestling, the large luchador was able to lift Leon up and drop him with a big powerbomb, but didn't let go, choosing to hit a second powerbomb. When he went for a third in the powerbomb symphony, Duncan ran the ropes to gain speed then hit a dropkick to Tonioso's back, forcing him to let go.
"Leon.... you said you were here to find out if what you were doing was all worth it. Trying to wrestle when it's not in your heart ain't the answer. One of the best things about wrestling is that there is more than one way to win a match!" Duncan shouted, encouraging Leon to fight his own style and not fixate on wrestling.

When Duncan heard that it lit a fire under him so hot it couldn't have gone unnoticed from anywhere. Leon did a kip up back to his feet like he had a comeback coming. Follwing Duncan's dropkick, the same practices he used sword fighting he translated it to his legs and arms using them as a form of a blade. When Tonioso started to get back to his feet, Leon gave him a roundhouse kick to his head as if leg was a sword coming for the killshot.

Tonioso was visibly rocked by Leon's last kick and put off by his change of pace. He slowly got to his feet and Duncan followed up, chopping his foe's chest a dozen times. The large lucha began to get angry and chopped Duncan's chest so hard that blood was drawn.
When Duncan was staggering, Tonioso hit a super kick to Leon, dropping the Ranger. He then grabbed Duncan and hit a devastating Tiger Driver 91, nearly breaking his neck. He saw Leon literally fading out and realized his mission was nearly complete. He picked up Duncan and placed him on the top turnbuckle with his back facing the ring. Tonioso was preparing to finish off Duncan with his own finisher, Mark of the Elite, a super poison-Rana. From that height, if Duncan gets dropped on his head, it would be sure to kill him. Tonioso was slowly climbing the ropes and was set to hit his finish. For Leon, he needed to dig deep. If he was going to come out with the win, the Green Ranger would have to do something now.

After that superkick, Leon refused to stay down when he knew his life and families life were on the line. Leon got up a bit staggered, and saw what was about to happen. Leon needed to think quick and on his toes. He had an idea and while it was super risky and had never been attempted before at least to his knoledge it was now or never. Leon ran up while Tonioso was climbing the buckles and double dropkicked both his knees out from under him, leaving him hanging and the toes of his boots being caught by the second ropes while haning from the top ropes. Leon then got out on to the ring apron and looked at Duncan... "I'mma need you to not move a damn muscle if this is to work. Your gonna have to trust me..." Leon said as he jumped up and positioned himself on the top of the corner ring post. Leon quickly said a prayer as time was of the essence. Leon stood up straight on the top of the ring post grabbing Duncan's shoulders for stability. Leon then leaped onto Duncan's shoulders and then from the shoulders into a diving double leg stomp aimed directly at Tonioso's head.

The large lucha was dropped on his head after that mega stomp from Leon. Once Tonioso was down, Duncan turned around, looking at their opponent who appeared to be down for the count.
"That was some crazy shit." Duncan came down from the ropes, feeling the effects of taking all of those super stiff bumps. "You did a good....hold on." The former Ranger saw Tonioso slowly get back to his feet with a bloody face. "That guy definitely isn't human! Don't you guys have some team weapon y'all can use?"

"Working on it." Leon said as he looked at the others. "I know I've been a complete ass today but if I could form the Chrono Spike, I can finish the job." Leon said as he waited on the team to throw their weapon.

Augustus flipped a Dionaut on its back before driving his boot in its face. He looked in the reason, seeing Leon calling for the team's weapons. His gaze shifted over to Mateo to see what his call would be.
The Red Ranger punched a Dionaut in the chest with his T-Rex Smasher before delivering a thrust kick to another grunt, knocking him down a series of steps into a growing pile of Dionauts. He heard Leon and saw him fading out, something he feared might happen. Still, as angry as he was, he wasn't keen on seeing someone die.
"Fuck it." Mateo sighed. "Form Chrono Spike!" He said, throwing his Smasher into the air.

After knocking down a couple of Dionauts, Lalah heard Leon and turned around, her eyes widen at his nearly-faded body. "Uh oh." Not willing to lose her friend, she brought out her Tricera Drill and threw it up for the Chrono Spike formation.

Ledger and Samara threw their weapons up into the combo, the Blue Ranger stepping back as he did. "Get him, Leon!"
Samara looked away, sighing as her hands clenched.

The four other pieces of the Chrono Spike were thrown up into the air just above Leon, awaiting him to complete assembly and finish this luchador monstrosity.

Ledger watched the peices of the Chrono Spike just hovering over Leon, and the Blue Ranger shook his head. "LEON! For fucks sake take the damn thing!"

"Chrono Spike, Combine!" Leon said as the pieces assembled. Once in his hands, he looked at Duncan and grinned. "How about we both do the honors? Since nothing beats steele?" Leon said as looked back at Tonioso.

"CHRONO SPIKE, LAUNCH!" Leon stated as he and his ancestor threw the spike with all their might, taking out tonioso for the 1, 2, 3.

The powerful Chrono Spike was launched with ill intentions, piercing Tonioso's chest, causing the dark luchador to drop to the ground, causing a minor explosion, giving the Rangers victory on this day.
"Outstanding!" Auggie exclaimed.
"Good job, team." Mateo said to his team, even though his words were devoid of his typical energy and excitement.
Worry would begin to set in when Leon's body didn't solidify after Tonioso was defeated.
"Sensei, what's going on?" Mateo asked. "His body should be solid by now."
"Not in this case. Physically, Duncan avoided any long term dehabilitating injuries, but the events today have altered Duncan's future, resulting in Leon not being born."
"This isn't good." Mateo pulled out his Storm Morpher, loading his Mind Wipe charger. "Everybody back to the ship. I gotta do this fast."
"Guess this is it. Sounds like I'm not gonna be able to remember this." Duncan sighed. "A part of me wished I never gave my powers up, so it was good to beat the bad guy one more time, even if I won't remember it." Duncan said, looking at Leon. "Take care of yourself and do right by your friends." He said, offering a handshake to the Green Ranger.
Mateo had the charger ready to go, giving Leon only seconds to say goodbye.
