"These are Power Rangers. If they're here, I would assume they're here to stop you." Calen said to Beryl. "Power Rangers? Hmmmm..." Beryl pondered for a moment. "If that's so, they can die with the rest of this planet!" Beryl blasted the Rangers with dark magic, sending them all flying as she cackled. "These...Power Rangers don't seem so tough." She was about to fire again when a loud yell stopped her progress. "BERYL!!!!!" Sir Augustus yelled, drawing his sword and pointing it at Beryl. "You've cause untold levels of hurt that I cannot let stand on my honor as a knight. You shall pay for your crimes with your head!" "And you will fall...just like the Prince." Beryl shot her dark energy at Augustus who blocked with his sword, but the energy was so strong, the young knight was being pushed back. Through his mind, he was thinking back to Endymion and the times they shared as children and now adults. It hurt him to know that he failed in protecting the prince and was ready to die to atone for that error. "Augustus!" Mateo got alongside Augustus and slid the gold energem into the knight's hand. Within the chaos, the energem bonded with Augustus as its energy coursed through his body. Letting out a loud yell, Augustus morphed into the Gold Ranger for the first time. The burst of energy from the morph was enough to dissolve Beryl's blast, much to her surprise. "What!?" "What!? Sir Mateo, what is this clothing on my body?" "It's your new suit. It's a little tight at first, but you'll get used to it." Mateo smiled underneath his helmet. "No! Not another one!" Calen exclaimed. |

"Oh yes, another one!" Grinning, Lalah got up from the ground with the help from her Tricera Drill. "Welcome to the team, Sir Augustus!"

"Lady in the Pink. My humblest apologies for the confusion. I am not joining your team. I am here to ensure that this villainous witch pays for her crimes against two kingdoms." Augustus got into a fighting stance.
"The only thing you will do is die like your traitorous prince!" Beryl shot back
"Attack!" Seeing his opportunity, Calen sent his Dionauts after the Gold Ranger.
"Ah. A new alliance? They shall fall just as you will Beryl!" Augustus leapt into battle with razor sharp technique. He dispatched of the Dionauts quickly and efficiently with a healthy blend of punches and kicks, showing off a more balanced fighting style compared to that of a modern day Ranger. Once done with the Dionauts, he set his sights on Beryl. The witch fired more dark energy at him to which he countered by using his new sword.
"Ptera Saber!" Without a second thought, Augustus sliced the blast in two and deflected a second, third, and fourth blast. When Calen tried to intervene, he opened fired with several blasts, prompting Augustus to move, revealing to the other Rangers and himself that he had wings he could use for brief flight.
"Such wizardry! Lord Methos would approve." Using his gauntlet morpher, he returned fire while in the air. "Ptera Bolt!" When he saw an opening, he came down with fury against the evil pair with his saber, fighting both off at the same time. Seeing his chance, he stepped back for a big move.
"Augustus, catch!" Mateo threw him a new charger that the Gold Ranger accepted.
"This looks to be where this little crystal goes." Augustus slotted the charger into the saber's compartment and was in awe of the lightning beginning to form. "Remarkable! The lords of Jupiter would be proud. The two of you will not share such a sentiment." Summoning the power of thunder, Sir Augustus launched a devastating final strike, sending Beryl and Calen both through nearby pillars.
Calen dug himself out of the rubble and looked at all six Rangers. "This isn't over!" Favoring his injuries, Calen retreated, vowing to fight another day.
Beryl was laid out, fighting to remain conscious after that attack.
"Success! But the victory comes at a cost." The Gold Ranger looked around, seeing a ruined kingdom.

"Unfortunately, sometimes the sacrifice outweighs the victory." Leon said after peeling himself off the ground after Beryl's last attack. "However, the lady in pink is right. That bastard that you fought with the witch in tow? He's not done and it's not over. He'll be back. Maybe not in this era. But he'll be back stronger, and if he gets stronger, we need to be as well. That's where you come in, sir." Leon stated.

As understandable as it was with that victory and losses, Lalah briefly looked at Beryl before she looked back at her teammates. "What do we do with her?" She asked, referring to Beryl.

"The cost is simply too great, Sir Green man." Augustus sighed. "While this kingdom was not mine to claim as my home, I spent many days here dating back to my youth. Even now, this kingdom is a secondary home and I failed it, much like I failed my brother." Augustus ripped his helmet off, fighting back tears over these losses.
"Your brother?.... oh you mean Prince Endymion!" Mateo snapped his fingers, remembering the name.
"Listen Augustus...you did all you can. But.." Mateo tried to comfort the Gold Ranger, but his hand was slapped away. "Do not offer me encouragement suited for a child!"
"Dude, it's not encouragement. It's the truth. Endymion is alive!" Mateo exclaimed, leaving Augustus shocked.
"Impossible. I would have found him by now."
"Not necessarily. I can prove it. I can prove it that you didn't fail." Mateo continued to press in order for Augustus to join them.
"And if you can't?"
"Then we'll leave you here as you wish and let your fate play out."
Augustus nodded, agreeing to the terms.
"Good. But first..." Mateo inserted the Mind Wipe charger into his Storm Morpher before blasting a downed Beryl, wiping her memory of the Rangers. "That's done. Okay guys, time to head back." Mateo said to the others, calling for them to return to the ship.

"One way to make it work." Lalah smirked out of satisfaction after seeing Mateo wiped Beryl's memory of them. Then she gave a nod to Mateo and trudged her way back to Patricia.

Samara and Ledger nodded, following the others. The Black Ranger was silent as they walked, stepping back onto the ship as her suit disappeared.
Ledger watched as Samara walked off, the Blue Ranger's own suit fading away as he ran his hand in his hair softly. "So....what happens to the Kingdom now?"

"If I had to hazard a guess?" Leon said as he followed up behind Ledger onto the ship as he dropped his ranger suit. "Probably turn into a tourist attraction." Leon stated.

"Actually.... data records show that Beryl destroys all traces of the kingdom, leaving nothing left. The next time someone steps foot on the moon is during the famous moon landing with the fancy astronauts. She repeated the same process with the Earth kingdom and other planets to such a degree that your normal history books have no record of these kingdoms even existing. That is how powerful Beryl becomes, especially after she learned to hone her power." Sensei said to Ledger and Leon through their coms.
"My word. What is this place!?" Augustus demorphed, getting a good look at the Patricia for the first time along with Sensei talking more in depth.
"This is the Patricia. It's our ship." Mateo responded, proudly explaining the basics of the ship to the hopeful Ranger.
"This is unlike any ship I've ever seen." Augustus looked around, seemingly in awe of this technology.

With her morph faded, Lalah walked next to Augustus with a smile. "Patrica carries variety of things. Simulation deck, kitchen, archival room, and what not." She said. "We also have our friend and artificial intelligence Sensei here with us."

"Forgive me, m'lady. Most of what you speak is foreign in nature to my ear." Augustus said to Pilar, kindly reminding her that given his origin, he wouldn't know most of what she's talking about. "But it matters not. Once I indulge your captain, I will return and meet my fate with honor."
"Well let's not waste any more time." Mateo sat in the captain's chair and once everyone was locked in, they left this time period, flying through the time stream. Mateo got up out of his chair. "Sensei, 2024 should be good enough to prove our point, eh?"
"It's possible. It depends on when in 2024." Sensei responded.
"When? All of Augustus' boys should still be alive."
"That voice. I see no body! Is this magic?!" Augustus looked around.
"Nope. Just technology. Officially, I'm dubbed as Artificial Intelligence but there's nothing fake about me!" Sensei projected her digital head. Augustus walked over to the digital head, putting his hands through it, amazed when he felt no flesh. "Fascinating."
"Flattery will get you everywhere, especially with those hands of yours."
"Sensei!" Mateo exclaimed.
"What?!" Sensei sheepishly held up digital hands. "Okay okay. Back to business. It looks like in 2024, we have big historical shifts. Methos aids a group of Rangers against the DRAGO Organization. Endymion emerges to mentor a group of Rangers to combat Queen Beryl... Crystal Moon is what they call themselves. And Titanus.... he dies saving the Aura Striker Rangers from certain death."
Augustus took several steps back, struggling to process this. "If what you say is true, I must help my friends.. my family."
"Unfortunately, we can't. One of our big rules is that we can't make changes that will severely impact the flow of time." Sensei sadly admitted.
"So how can you call yourselves heroes if you sit here and let people die!?" Augustus shot back, growing more upset.
"When the alternative is much worse." Sensei responded.
"So there's something worse than seeing good men die for nothing? If altering time is a concern, why am I here? If I'm also slated to fall, why save me and not them? Especially Titanus."
"Because you being alive doesn't majorly impact the time stream. It's the reason why all of the Rangers were recruited."
Hearing Sensei's words stung, not because of his future value to history, but because he was seemingly powerless to at least help his friends. "No. I do not accept that. I refuse to allow any of my brethren to die when it can be prevented. Take me to Titanus. Please, Lady Sensei."
"I'm sorry. I truly am. But I..."
"Sensei, set a course for 2024." Mateo spoke up to put an end to the nonsense.
"My boy, did you not hear me? I said..."
"I heard you. I'm just not gonna listen. Part of me still doesn't feel great about that Dragonis mission and if making one exception saves what three Ranger teams and makes ours stronger, I'm willing to take that chance." Mateo countered.
"But the TMB..."
"Can get mad at me later. As captain, it's my call. Set a course for Pearl Cove 2024." Mateo gave the order, standing firm.
"Strap in everyone." Sensei sighed. "Looks like we're headed to 2024." As much as she knew this broke protocol, part of her was proud to see Mateo stand firm in his conviction.

Samara sighed to herself, sitting down and strapping in as Ledger sat beside her.
The Blue Ranger looked at Samara, and he tilted his head softly. "You ok?"
"I will be. Seeing that level of destruction...knowing we couldn't save anything...it hurts," the Black Ranger said softly. "And knowing that Augustus wants to change it and we can't...it makes it worse."
"I get it," Ledger said, putting his hand on Samara's arm softly. "But it's the one aspect of this job we have to live with. Much as it hurts."
"I know, Ledger. Does not mean I have to like it..."

Lalah grew concerned over the ramification. Sure she abide the TMB rule set to protect the past but she wasn't sure if changing the timeline for Augustine could be a good thing. Taking her seat to buckle herself, the Pink Ranger looked at Leon. "Say Leon, do you think we're doing the right thing for Augustine?"

"It's a risk for sure. Depends on how much this point in time will affect everything. I think Teo is trying to prove a point. I just hope its not all for nothing and we end up worse than we are." Leon stated as he sat next to Lalah.
