Time Force Delta Squad: Trapped (S2 Game)

Kari gave a nod, the woman's last words going in one ear and out the other. "On it." She called back turning and rushing back onto the Waverunner. "Let's get him to the med bay." She said lightly touching Alluka's shoulder. "Together." She said with a nod.

Tanjiro and M'yrnn followed Sojiro on board, the Red Ranger closing the ramp to the cargo bay. "We'll check on Alluka later. Let Kari work. Circuit, get us back to Silver Guardians."

"Already on it," the bird said. "We'll be there in five minutes."

Tanjiro sighed to himself, walking down teh hall and dropping down the level, walking into his room. He shut the door and sat on the bed, unstrapping his morpher and rubbing his hand over his face. The Red Ranger felt exhausted, his emotions not helping matters. Between Kari's outburst because of Fumiosa, K'hysh's return, and teh constant beatings he's been undertaking at almost everyone's hands, the rookie Red didn't know how long he'd be able to maintain his composure in front of the others. "Fuck," he muttered.

M'yrnn walked onto the bridge, seeing Rolo. "Hello, Rolo."

Kari rushed into the med bay. "Get her on the table!" She said quickly sanitizing her hands. "Med Bay Emergency!" She called as the med bay came to life and became her second set of hands per say. "Alluka, I need you to stay with me, I've got you." She said placing a mask with a sedative over the girls face. "I'm going to take care of you girl, when you wake up you will be good as new." She said giving a smile and a nod to the black ranger. She moved to the young woman's wounds and got to work with what she knew without a doubt best. Medicine.

Sojiro looked at Kari and Alluka and turned to Cody, "Careful putting her down, man," he said to the Blue Ranger.

Hearing footsteps, Rolo leaps off his seat and leaves, going to the Med Bay. On his way, he looks up at M’yrnn, who happens to call his name. Initially, he likes him until he learns he’s K’hysh’s brother, prompting the boy to hide his discomfort and instead be cordial to him.

“M’yrnn.” Rolo greets him. “Can’t talk right now. I gotta see Uncle Cody and Alluka.”

"That isn't a good idea," M'yrnn said. "Alluka was injuried pretty badly in the battle, and I don't think you should see the wounds she's got. I know you're strong and can probably handle it, but--"

Tanjiro walked back up toward the bridge, stopping at the end of the hallway. "M'yrnn." The Silver Ranger turned to face the Red. "Just let him. He'll find a way to slip past you and end up in medical anyway, so just cut out the middle and let him past. Sure, we don't think he should see everything he does, but it isn't our call. We're not his family. Just let him go."

M'yrnn looked at Tanjiro, seeing how worn down the Red Ranger was, and he nodded lightly. "Very well," he said, stepping to the side to let Rolo through.

Rolo would've explain to M'yrnn that he knows and understands harsh situations; that he can't lose his uncle and Alluka like his Dad and Mom but Tanjiro steps in to let him to go. Eyes widen in awe, the boy immediately hugs the Red Ranger tightly. "You're the best, Tan. Thanks." He beams with acknowledgement before he lets go and leaves.

When Rolo finally arrives to the entrance, the first thing he spots is his Uncle sitting on the floor, his eyes staring at nothing. He walks up and stand next to him. He kneels down, gently opens his fist into a form of a palm and hold it softly. "U-Uncle Cody? I'm here." He says, his voice laced like he's walking on eggshells.

Cody looks up at him with despondency still remaining in him, but as he gazes at his nephew, the melancholy and guilt within him slowly begins to fade. His eyes swirl with emotion and begin to water. All he can think about is Alluka’s hand, reaching for him. Cody’s hand, outstretched, racing some terrible clock, trying to get to him in time.

Then there’s another hand, patting his back in a steady way. “It’s gonna be okay, Uncle Cody.” Rolo assures in a whisper, leaning against his uncle.

Cody thinks it’s not fair. Not fair that Rolo is comforting his Uncle in this moment. They lean against each other, and he has never felt so small. “Thanks, Kid.” He acknowledges with a heavy sigh.

"Alluka is gonna make it. She has to. Right, guys?" Rolo quickly looks up to stare at his Uncle's friends in hopes they agree with his faith.

After what seemed to be a while, Kari had finally gotten everything cleaned and sewn up. A very small scar possible but with the rest of the meds, she figured that wouldn't happen either. "Okay Alluka, you rest love. Cody, if you need anything let me know. I need-" She spoke while degloving and taking off the robe but stopped when she saw Tan. "A-a shower!" She said with a sigh to herself then quickly slid past him and Rolo heading for her cabin to get cleaned up. This day needed to end and she was ready for it to be done.
